Chapter 3: Morning Bath(*)
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
I heard the sound of knocking on the door as my eyes slowly opened and the idea that I'm not in my room but instead in a demon castle in another world hits me harder than Truck-Kun hits isekai protagonists, but I don't let get to me... Unfortunately, what did get to me was the fact that wasn't used to waking up at this time of day, there was no sun to be seen outside the window making me assume that it must be very early in the morning, too early in the morning.
"My prince, it's me, Zelina. It's time for you to wake up. We have a long day ahead of us." Zelina spoke in a louder tone than I would say was her usual one, not enough to be shouting but just enough to wake you up when you're half-asleep.
Not wanting to deal with what an angry Zelina looked like, I forced myself up and walked towards the door before slightly opening it to see the same old expressionless Zelina on the other side looking at me without saying another word.
"So? What are we supposed to be doing at this time of day?" I asked making sure my tiredness was evident and maybe some sort of emotion buried deep within her will awaken and feel pity for me, wishful thinking, but necessary for the good of my sanity nonetheless.
"None of your lessons start at this time of day, my prince, but I thought it would be a good idea to get used to waking up early and take this opportunity to bathe as well as choose your outfit. While not necessarily a problem it is still unbecoming of the future ruler of the Kingdom to walk around naked." Zelina shamelessly explained her plan for the first time since I met her showing what looked like a genuine smile, making me wonder if she was one of those early morning people, but regardless of the answer, I was not an early morning person and today was not the day I would become one.
"Yeah... That's not happening, not today. Wake me up when the day actually starts, before that, I'm following you nowhere." Following her advice, I just make myself clear and close the door on her face before going back to my sweet, sweet sleep.
It didn't take too long for the sleep to kick in and I once again got taken by my dreams, basking in the comfort of my sleep, until it was once again interrupted by knocking on the other what felt like 10 minutes later. Does this lady not know when the day starts?! The sun is not out yet!
"My prince, it has been an hour since we last talked, and according to what you said previously I believe this time to be more appropriate to commence the daily activities." Somehow this time she felt louder than before even though I was aware of the fact that she was speaking in the same tone as before.
Feeling like I wouldn't be able to go back to my lovely sleep, I decided to give and let the morning lady win this time. Once again I got up and opened the door to see her standing in the same position as before waiting for me with the same expressionless face. It was a jarring scene that would have spooked me if my mood was not spoiled by her insistence on starting the day way too early.
"Good morning, my prince. Shall we go to the bathroom and begin your day or would you rather sleep for another hour?" Zelina asked with a certain air of innocence that made me wonder if she really is clueless enough to not understand that normal people don't wake up at this time of day.
"First, tell me what time it is." I wanted to greet her back, but after being scolded by her on how a Demon King should act by her yesterday, it's hard to know how friendly or polite I'm allowed to be to anyone at any given time. Not having an answer or the energy to get scolded right now, I just decided to ignore it and see how it goes.
"It is 5 am, my prince." 5 AM?! Seriously? You couldn't have waited another hour to wake me up at six when normal people start waking up?!
"Just take me to the bathroom already." Having no energy to actually complain, I just decide to go along with her early morning plan.
"With pleasure my prince!" For the first time since I met her, Zelina showed excitement in her voice and even joined her hand shaking them slightly before turning around and leading the way.
I followed closely through the halls of the castle and honestly, it was very fancy... There were paintings, vases, and what I believe were antiques lying at every corner to be observed by anyone bypassing. Though if I had to say something about this place was memorable, it would be the goth style plastered all throughout this castle, it felt both out of place and appropriate at the same time.
Soon we had reached the bathroom, it was a spacious room with two other rooms inside, a bathtub room and a jacuzzi room? No... That's probably a hot spring or something among those lines.
"My prince, would you allow me to bathe you?" Zelina asked as my hormonal impulses began to beg me to say yes, and in all fairness, I had no real reasons to reject it anyway.
"Permission granted." Maintaining my cool, I answer in the first neutral way that came to mind.
Moving to the bathtub room, I notice that the wooden bathtub has two shining stones attached to it, a red one and a blue one which I assume indicate the temperature of the water. Besides it, there were a few wooden stands. I turn what I believe is the faucet to the red side and as expected after a bit got water starts pouring into the bathtub.
Once the water level was good, I got in and was embraced by the warmth and comfort of a hot bath, as just this was enough to take the sleep away and even improve my mood.
Right after, a naked Zelina came inside the bathtub room and walked toward me with her now exposed features. Then again, they might also see me as a threat since I don't know how Claire actually feels about having an otherwolder like me on the throne... And if that were the case, probably revealing only one or two of my unique skills would be much, as I would still have cards under my sleeve while increasing my value all at the same time. Lastly, I could hide all my unique skills a let things as they are now to see how it goes.

Great, that means my plan to only revealing two of my unique skills is feasible.
"Zelina, I've just found two unique skills in my status screen." I announced.

"We must now go and take care of designing your outfit, my prince." Zelina said and once again began guiding me to another room.
