**The characters, certain details of drugs, groups or associations that has been mentioned in the story are completely fictional and has been brought up for the clarity of the plot.**

'The Dragon Man Era & The Modern world'

 It was late midnight and everyone in the lab had already left. The lab was quiet and calm. 


But, Shin remained in the lab seated at her desk where, all books and papers were scattered across the table, screens and monitors busy showing accuracy rates of different samples. Some showed 30%, some 54% and also 76%. 


She noticed that over 60 percent accuracy rate was shown for the plant specimen samples.


She quickly started projecting more plant specimens under the microscope and then moved it for scanning.


Just then Edward enters the lab room with a knock. Shin barely turns to look over to the door. She was immersed in the study both tensed and excited.


 Edward sees her all focused onto the microscopes and monitors.


"Well..I thought you would be home... !! Or is this where you stay...?"


"Ahh... Mr. Edward... May I help you...?!"


"Well...I saw you.. here while passing so I thought to ask you if there's any progress with the study..?"


"Ahh! Yes...about that....we haven't yet found out a result but I have got a lead..."


"Well yea.. a lead! Almost over 60% accuracy rate is shown for plant specimens...But.. I wonder how to proportionate it accurately... in order to bring it to the perfect antidote for this SOSO drug."


Shin began to show the details on her monitor to Edward. He carefully examines them and even noted some details.


"You don't mind me taking notes...right??"


Edward sits beside her on a lab seat and observes busy with the monitor and shiftings of papers and books. Each and every move tensed and quick as if there's no tomorrow, he thought. Edward kept gazing at her, deep in thoughts


Despite all this... she still looks soft and beautiful...how is it... wondered Edward.


Shin suddenly turns around towards Edward and finds him looking at her.


"I hope you are not blaming yourself...Ms..Shin..."


Shin almost stops everything she was doing as soon as she heard his question. She soon puts up a smile on her face as she faced Edward.


"Just asked.... you know there would be a thousand of things happening under our nose....in some we get involved...but when it don't go right...it doesn't mean it's your fault...Shin.."


Shin suddenly understands that Edward knows everything and kept gazing at him.


"No....I don't blame myself.. I'm just trying to make something happen.....before I fully get convinced....that it was also my fault...."


"So I think you should better eat...you know...so what do you want... I'll go get a grab of it..."


"No...but we can eat together... how about chinese specials....like stir fried tofu with rice..? or shredded pork....? or just maybe...some... quick noodles..."


Shin narrows her eyes as she leaves out a smirk, facing Edward.


"You sure you're not flirting with me...?"


Edward avoids eye contact, while Shin lets out a laugh. 


Soon Edward and Shin were both laughing and engaged in talks.
