That's The Girl!!

"Quick come with me," whispered Ashley as she pulled Anna's hand and sat exactly opposite to Samuel. Beside him was a good looking girl with magnum-red, curly hair and a dusky complexion, she had a rounded face and had a little double chin, and from the looks of it, she seemed to be his friend. She was wearing a floral printed frock with capri pants and had a red coloured gross anatomy book opened in front of her on the table. Samuel didn't notice Ashley sitting just across him, still lost in his physiology book. Between Ashley and Sam was a translucent glass in the middle dividing the rectangular wooden study table into two halves, with a transparent circle in the centre of the glass.

Ashley signaled Anna with her eyes in Samuel's direction indicating that the guy opposite them was him. "Okay look, bend a little and you will be able to see his face through the central transparent area." Ashley said to Anna, "But don't make it look too obvious."

Anna did as commanded, "Oh he seems nice, hey why don't we just stand and go get the biochemistry book, behind him on the wooden bookshelf? That way you will get to see him and he will get a nice view of you up close too, a view he won't forget." winked Anna.

"I don't know about this...I don't wanna come off as desperate but I do want him to notice that I am here," admitted Ashley.

"Hey!" said Anna, "You in no way are coming off desperate. In fact, I think it's pretty adorable. It's your first love, don't overthink so much. As far as I know, the guy is lucky to have a girl like you falling for him," smiled Anna.

The girls quietly walked over to the wooden book rack behind Samuel, trying to play it natural, they took one of the biochemistry books out of the brown coloured wooden rack and pretended to go through it, hoping Samuel would notice the two ladies behind him.

"This is hopeless," whispered Ashley. "Shh, don't let him hear you," warned Anna. As soon as Ashley was about to utter another word, Samuel looked over his shoulder and gazed over the two beautiful girls standing behind him waiting to catch his attention, with one being the same mystery girl who had entered his life out of the blue an hour ago, standing right in front of him, just a few inches away, once again, the same way he had last seen her looking perfect in her brown and black striped tights with a light purple coloured, fitted t-shirt that had a toolbox drawn over it. With her smooth, glowing tanned skin and her dark brownish hair with the perfect waves plunging over her shoulders, giving a glimpse of her sharp collar bone as she moved and her delicate petite figure and cherry red lips with a beauty mark on her left cheek, she indeed looked amazing.

Ashley watched him from the corner of her eyes, pretending not to notice him, as he quickly turned to his friend with the curly hair sitting right beside him. "That's the girl!!!! That's her!!!" he said trying his best to whisper but unable to control the excitement in his voice. The thought of him getting so excited to see her again made Ashley happy. His friend turned to get a look at this mystery girl. "She is so pretty!" his friend responded. Samuel looked down trying to fight off the silly smile that ran across his face, turning pink as he did so. "Are you blushing?" his friend teased.

"He is blushing because of me! Does that mean he likes me too?" Ashley thought to herself. Her heart beating like a drum, she signalled Anna to let's go back to their seats opposite Samuel.

She could feel Samuel's eyes on her as she walked over to her seat. His beautiful dazzling light brown eyes, watching her every step, craving her attention, burning into her soul as he did so. Of all the girls present inside the library, he had his eyes locked on her. "He can't take his eyes off you!!" giggled Anna. "Do I look okay?" asked Ashley nervously. "You look great!!" said Anna trying to help her friend relax.

With her heart fluttering like a butterfly's wings, her lungs hyperventilating, her cheeks burning hot red with the fire of passion his eyes had started. "The guy who was so involved in his physiology book when she entered the library was now just waiting eagerly for their eyes to meet. I will make you wait for me just a little more." she thought to herself, enjoying having Samuel trying to catch her gaze.

"What time is it?" asked Ashley trying to leave Samuel hanging there, with her on his mind. "It is three-fifteen, we better go. We told the girls we will meet them at the cafeteria before leaving," replied Anna. "Oh yeah! Let's go," said Ashley.

As the girls picked up their handbags and headed towards the exit, Ashley could still feel his gleaming eyes, tracking her every move, her every step, his puppy dog eyes looking unhappy as he saw her leave without a single glance at him..."I am gonna miss you, she thought to herself but that's okay, our story has only just begun." she thought to herself, smiling.
