The Prince and his wives

" Since Imperial uncle has announced that Chun Hua and Ming Yu would be added to the hierarchy list then the ceremony would commence in two days. In this ceremony, you two would have to kneel to mother and father so they would know that they have a new family member," I announced as they all nodded in reply. "Everyone is meant to be present in the ceremony in two days. Also Tian Jing when are you due to give birth? Have you found a nanny yet?" I asked in concern. Tian jing shook her head and replied "No I haven't found a nanny yet. I'm 7 months pregnant so I'm meant to give birth in two months,". I looked at Yu Xuan saying "Yu Xuan go and find two suitable nannies for Tian Jing and also find two midwives as well,". Yu Xuan nodded and headed off to find the nannies and midwives.


"Yu Xuan is everyone here yet?" I asked and he nodded "have you found the midwives and nannies yet?" he also nodded saying "yes your highness I already sent them to Tian Jing Junzhu,". I nodded and headed out towards the imperial palace's ancestral hall. Everyone was already gathered there. This included His Majesty, Imperial Grandmother and the rest of Prince Zi's mansion's children. I motioned to Chu Hua to follow me. Today she was wearing a red and peach hanfu. Red at the top and peach at the bottom. There were feathers embroidered onto the sleeves and flowers at the bottom of the hanfu.  Her hair was made into a bun with a red hairpin sticking out holding half of her hair. The style made her look like a naive young lady. I smiled and nodded at her in acknowledgement.


I stepped up towards the tablets in the ancestral hall. Most of them were past emperors in this dynasty. I recognised Imperial great-grandfather, great-grandmother, Imperial grandfather, father, mother and many more tablets. I motioned for Chun Hua to kneel alongside me. I spoke up saying "Li Tian You hereby present Li Chun Hua who was a lost child stray from our clan. Now I've brought her back and hopefully, my ancestors would guide her to act like the Li family's descendants. Sun Chun Hua will therefore be known as Li Chun Hua. Her name would be written underneath Li Dong Hai's Prince Zi's descendants," then I lit the three incense sticks and prayed sincerely. Tian Hua followed me doing the same thing. Not long later Tian Hua returned to her seat to watch the rest of the ceremony.


Tian Jing, Sun Mu Chen and Ming Yu stood up for next were their turn. Today Tian Jing and Sun Mu Chen were wearing matching outfits. Tian Jing was wearing light blue hanfu with her head done up in a dignified bun held with golden flower pins. Sun Mu Chen was wearing dark blue hanfu, his hair was tied up in a topknot held together with a metal piece. Xiao Feng was wearing a purple hanfu and her hair was done up as a side bun held with pink flower accessories.


Tian Jing led her family and knelt alongside me. I looked at them and finally spoke up saying " To all ancestors above your descendant Li Tian Jing had strayed away from the right path however she is now back with her family. Tian Jing bore the li family a daughter. Her name is Li Ming Yu given the title Qing Yun Xing Zhu. Ming Yu's name would be added to Prince Zi's family book under Tian Jing,". I finished my speech and along with the other three, I lit the incense stick. The ceremony was finally finished. After the ceremony, there was a family banquet but that went smooth;y as well.
