Chapter Five – Kidnapping

In the evening...

Drago is busy serving coffee to students and April is helping her. In the mean time Joey and Rose arrives.

Rose had to go to purchase some clothes so she is going for shopping with me. Would you both like to join us? Joey asks.

Sure Joey! April speaks with a smile.

I will also come, I will also come! Drago shouts like a child.

Yes, Drago will probably eat ice cream again! April says with a giggle.

Ice Cream! Drago's eyes glow.

Which flavour of ice cream do you like? Rose asks with a smile.

Chocolate! April replies.

Yes Chocolate! Drago speaks with his mouth watering.

He is so cute! I feel like hugging him. Rose gazes at the drago.

Shortly after, everyone reaches the shopping mall and Joey starts looking for clothes for himself. April and Drago helps Rose in choosing clothes.

How old are you Drago? Rose asks with a smile.

5 days! Drago replies with a great innocence.

What? Rose gets shocked.

He means 17 years 1 month 5 days! April says in a hurry.

Oh well April! It looks as if you're really close to the Drago!

Rose says while picking up the clothes.

Wait! By the way, where is Joey? April asks all of a sudden.

Everyone starts looking for Joey in the mall.

On the other side....

A car is speeding on the road. And there are some people, dressed like robots, who are armed, sitting in the car and there, Joey's seated handcuffed.

Finally, we have caught you, Drago! One said.

Wait I am not Drago! Joey panicks.

Then one ties a tape on his mouth.

Joey starts wiggling but then one of them feeds him some drug. Joy immediately faints.

On the other side....

Mary is sitting on the couch with a person wearing a black coat sitting in front of her. He is having good physique like an officer.

"Do you really want to start this research again, Miss Mary Mactoe?" The man in black asks.

"Definitely." Mary replies.

"But we have already spent crores of rupees on your brother's research as he claimed that he had discovered the human dragon. But due to his in a car accident, we had to stop this project." The man says taking off his dark glasses.

"We have already wasted a lot of money on this project. So, we will start this research again only when we get strong evidence of the existence of human dragon!" The person continues.

"But my brother was telling the truth that there is a human dragon in this world and I can prove it too!" Mary says.

"Ok then, Miss Mary!" The person says thinking something.

"So, you are doing all this for your brother?" The person asks.

"No Mr. Robert Hudson! I have some conditions for this!" Mary frowns while speaking.

"What kind of conditions?" Robert gets shocked.

"Firstly, I need 10 crores for the research. And not only this, I should get the credit of the research!" It seems like Mary's eyes are getting angry.

"So, you want the credit of your brother's research but why?" Robert is astonished now.

"Because I hate my brother, he had let me down everywhere; he used to get the credit of every work, because I was a girl. Now I will show this world that I am more intelligent than my brother!" Mary says almost angrily.

"Okay, Miss Mary Mactoe! We accept all your conditions because we want a human dragon so that we can use it protect our country. Not only this, if we know the secret of human dragon being immortal then humans will become immortal!" Robert stands up.

"Thank you!" Mary shakes hands while standing.

"Let me go now and next week we will restart the research!" Robert says while walking.

"Yes, definitely!" There was now a devilish grin on Mary's face.

After some time,

Mary is sitting with her laptop open and then a video call rings and Mary picks it up and talks to her robotic soldiers.

"Have you caught him?" Mary asks.

"Yes!" One of the soldiers says.

"Show him to me!" Mary orders.

"Then the soldier shows the boy. And seeing this Mary's anger gets high to the seventh sky.

Duffers! You can't do a job properly. It is not a Drago but Joey. Erase his memory and leave him at home! Mary says thunderously.

"Okay!" The soldier panics and disconnects the video call.

On the other side,

It's been night in searching for Joey, and April and Drago are both walking tired on a road when they see Rose getting off a car.

"Did you get Joey?" April asks Rose.

"Yes, I called at his home and came to know that he has been sleeping since then!" Rose says with a smile.

"But why did he leave us suddenly that to without telling us?" April says with a surprise.

"Maybe, he must be tired, April!" Drago says placing his hand on April's shoulder.

"But he never did this before!" April says sullenly.

"Okay friends! It's high time. I should leave you at your place in my car." Rose says looking at Drago.

"No issues, both of us will walk!" April says gently holding the hand of Drago.

Drago smiles.

"Ok, good night friends." And Rose leaves.
