Chapter Nine – Fight for Love

In the morning, there were light sunrays all around. The sweet voice of the cuckoo was spread all over. Drago and April are hidden in a mountain cave. Drago hides April in his arms.

"Drago, we have to go to the city and talk to the government. How long we will remain hidden like this?" April says, turning her fingers on Drago's cheek.

"But they will kill us if we go openly!" Drago says taking April's face in his hand.

"But if we send the letter to the President, he will definitely help us!" April says while standing up.

"This is a good plan!" Drago says taking April in his arms.

A few days later,

Drago and April are roaming in the city in disguise. There is crowd all around. Drago is looking everywhere and both of them walk to the post office.

"Tell, who do you want to post a letter to?" The post office officer asked.

"Mr. President!" April says softly.

"But he is not in the Rashtrapati Bhavan! Looks like you don't watch the news!" The officer laughs.

"I do not understand what do you mean?" April says restlessly.

"A few days ago, a human dragon had almost destroyed a city that too for a girl. Mr. President has gone to visit the same city. Mr. President is also going to order strict action on that dragon." The officer says while doing his work.

Hearing this, both of them leave the post office and sit on a park bench.

"What should we do now, April? Our last hope is also over!" Drago says.

"Not yet, Drago! After visiting, they will declare strict action on you, but before this we will tell them the truth!" And April stands up.

"But how will we do this?" Drago asks.

"We will meet them there!" April is very excited now.

"But going there would be like feasting on one's own death!" Drago is panicked.

"Do you believe me or not Drago?" April says taking Drago's face in his hands.

"April, more than on myself!" Drago answers.

"But what should we do now?" April says.

"If I fly with you then we will get caught in the radar. And walking will take us a long time. We cannot use public transport also because there will be a number of people. We have to arrange a car so that we can reach there. But where can we get a car from?" Drago asks with sad face.

"Joey has a car. He can help us!" April says while thinking.

"But, he......" Drago stops by saying so.

"Hahaha! I know babu that you do not like him because you feel jealous when I am with him? Isn't it?" April says smiling.

"Yes!" Drago says with a teasing mouth.

"But he is a very nice person and he can help us also!" April holds the hands of Drago and speaks.

"It's okay!" Drago smiles.

After some time,

April and Drago are at Joey's house. All three are sitting on the couch with all the windows closed.

"Where are Aunt and Uncle?" April asks Joey.

"Mom and Dad are out of the town!" Joey answers.

"We want your help Joey!" Drago says with a calm face.

"Yes tell." Joey was looking at Drago with an irritated mind.

"We want your car!" Drago says.

"Ok! Take it." Joey was absolutely straight forward.

After hearing this, Drago and April get up and take the car out of the garage and start it, and when they are about to leave; April and Joey's eyes meet, April had tears in her eyes.

"Wait!" Joey says right away.

"What happened?" Drago says looking at Joey.

"If you go by road then sure army or police will catch you. There is a way at some distance which connects to that city and I can take you through that road. Secondly, if you will drive then you'll be caught easily because everyone here recognizes you and April. So you have to hide on the back seat of the car till we reach that path. So sit in the car behind me. Let me drive it." Joy speaks in one breath.

April and Drago both hide on the back seat and Joey sits in the driver's seat when April puts her hand on Joey's shoulder.

"Thank you Joy! We will never forget what you are doing for us today!" April says.

"There is nothing to thank about in this, April!" And Joey drives the car away and in a short time they reach that road.

And now April and Drago sit openly and all three start talking. In some time, the three reach the street of that city and then April and Drago hide on the back seat again.

The buidings are broken all around, the roads are desolated. It is already evening and then Joey sees an army barrier.

"Friends, what should we do now?" April asks restlessly.

"Friends, after this barrier, the President's helicopter and his camp are not far away. I will engage the soldiers in the conversation till then you will take a chance to break the barrier!" Joey explains.

"But there is a risk to your life. So you get off here, I will take the car forward!" Drago says placing a hand on Joey's shoulder.

There are so many soldiers on the way that you will not be able to break the barrier and if they start firing, then April's life will also be threatened. So let me take the vehicle to the right place!" And Joey pushes the car forward.

Soldiers see the vehicle coming and gesture him to stop, so Joey stops the car and gets down to explain the reason to come here. Meanwhile Drago and April come to the front seats. Drago takes the driver seat and starts the car silently and accelerates to break the barrier. All this happens so quickly that the soldiers keep on firing from behind, but by then the car leaves. Joey jumps up with joy when the soldiers sit on his knees and handcuff him.

As the car covered some distance, they saw a large number of soldiers standing with guns and a fighter plane was flying over them as if a battle was about to take place.

"What should we do now, Drago?" April asks panicking.

"You take over the driver seat and do not stop the car at any cost. I will go out of the roof window of the car and and remove them by becoming dragon. You just reach the President!" Drago starts going upwards after saying so.

"No, they will catch you, Drago!" April says crying.

"It is acceptable to die too for you!" And Dragon comes out of the top window of the car and turns into a green dragon and flies quickly, throwing fire in front of the car. April speeds up the car further.

The soldiers are terrified to see a horrifying dragon coming towards them and a car as if they had no idea that they could fight even after seeing so many soldiers.
