Chapter 57

Camilla stared, in disbelief that Alex had brought them here. She was thinking as he drove, so she didn't realize exactly where they were going.

"Oh..." she said.

"We can't go to a super hotel, can we? I don't think they'll look for us around here." Alex said.

That wasn't exactly Camilla's concern, but rather the fact that they were in a not very safe place. At least, that's what she saw on the news, as she'd never been to Compton before.

They weren't exactly a hotel, but a rather inn... Falling apart.

Alex got out of the car and came around the vehicle to help Camilla down.

"Are you sure coming here was a good idea?" she asked, as some people looked at them strangely.

It was to be expected, after all, both he and she were well dressed, in formal clothes.

A man in his forties approached them, a toothpick in his mouth.

"Are you lost?" he asked, scratching his beard.
