Chapter 85

George opened his email box and noticed that a client was asking for a job he paid for and that was not delivered. George clicked on it and searched for who was designed to prepare that work. When he saw it was Camilla, he frowned. She had never, ever, failed. And if she felt bad, for any reason, she would always let him know in time to find someone to do the job.

He tried to call her, but her phone was off. He tried her house, and nobody answered. He tried a few more times, but, as he had not been able to reach her, he decided to visit. She was pregnant. Maybe she went into labor. Who knew?

When he arrived there, he saw her things being moved into a truck. 

"What is going on?" He asked.

"We're just moving stuff." A man answered.

"To where?" George asked.

"Los Angeles." 

George widened his eyes, but the man working didn't wait for his reply. He had work to do.
