Chapter 91

Alex had been there for two days now. He had no idea of that time, after all, he was cloistered and didn't see day or night. Meals were given to him at irregular intervals so that he could not count the hours and thus mess with his psyche.

Every now and then someone came up and gave him a beating. He was kept blindfolded and that made him anxious and afraid. Sometimes, his meal was something gross, or alive, like the last time, with a rat. 

All Alex could think was that he had to be strong to be able to leave that place. Vandorf didn't return. Alex knew the man was terrifying him in order to get what he wanted so badly. IThe plan was to make Alex so nervous and afraid that, once Vandorf asked for the company again, Alex would give it away, willingingly. But he was wrong. Alex was stubborn like hell and he was not gonna let someone do that to him so easily.
