Chapter 108

Emma finished eating and Alex was smiling like a fool. Only then she noticed he didn't eat at all. She looked from her plate to him. 

"I didn't poison you." He said, bluntly.

"How can you say it like that?" She asked, shivering.

Alex went around the counter and within seconds, he was beside her, hugging Emma. 

"I'm sorry." He said and kissed her head near her ear. "I didn't mean to hide it. But I thought you might think I was using you."

"And aren't you?" She asked and looked up, to see his eyes. 

"No. I would never use you. I love you, Emma. I told you it sounds crazy, but I do. Everything about you is perfect."

"Because I am like your wife." She said, sad. 

"No, because you are you." He said. She was not like Camilla. She was Camilla. That was way different. "And I want to be with you, always."
