Chapter 120

Taran and Danielle were called to answer questions as well. After that, they went back home. Danielle was afraid of leaving the apartment because she feared the man who paid her to take care of Camilla was going to appear at any moment and kill her. 

"Baby, relax." Taran told her. They were living together, now. 

"I can't! What if he comes after us?" She said. "Even with the best intentions, we did work for him." 

"I know. But if he did nothing until now, I don't think he will ever." 

Taran held her tight in his arms and rocked her, until he felt she was relaxing. He carried her to bed and laid her there. 

"I'll prepare something for us, ok?" He said and she just nodded. 

He was completely in love with her. In the beginning, he feared it was just carnal. Just sex. But no. Once they were free from that house and it's duties and able to live like any normal couple, or the best they could, Taran saw that Danielle was the woman for him.
