Mind break

Due to.my foolishness the camp was alerted and in a matter of minutes the whole firing squad assembled with guns aimed at me and my hands above my head 


There were atleast 20 people surrounding me with guns that looked like flintlocks as they interrogated me they asked me my objective, where do i belong and my identification i couldn't answer.anything they threatened to beat me if i do not reply i said that i don't know so i was getting beaten


I was almost about to die from getting beaten when wong stopped them and said" he's with me"


 they quickly withdrew their guns and said that i should have said so and offered treatment and a trip to the city


Wong was laughing after i was beaten almost to death and said i was looking like a swolen carbil


almost about to cry i asked him to stop laughing and the first thing he said don't cry you are not getting any attention for it 


After the night passed  some of the people in the camp sat on a jeep and left for patrolling 


We hopped in another jeep which was headed towards the city


 after travelling for a while we reached the city .While travelling i was thinking if wong was some kind of bigshot 


The city had an blue colour scheme that stretched out to its end .The buildings were 3 storeys tall 


We reached the city checked on a hotel which the camp offered to pay and wong offered me a tour to the city and without my reply again and said he will put it on my tab i started thinking he has no regard for consent .Then we stated walking the street


As after walking for a while we reached to the middle of the city where there was a statue of a man holding a round shield with patterns resembling to that of a chariot 


"Ah you seem interested in the statue let me charge you info" wong said .Why doesn't this person ask for my consent and i don't know why my instinct say to stick with him.  Well hes a bigshot he seems to be well respected maybe due to his achievements. 


"The statue of the person you see is Helios he is the 1st and the only person who has completed the trial of the gates and he is recognized by god himself .


 Helios symbolizes an undying light and in his honor he was immortalized by the people of the land thus his name is also the name of the currency 'helos' 


many people look up to him and become gate busters "


I became interested in the story so I asked for more . 


" So who is the god that recognised Helios " I asked while knowing the answer


" God is a transcendent being of immense power who could build and destroy the world with just a non intentional thought . 


He is someone who cannot be seen through the eyes of a mortal being .


The one who brings salvation while bringing destruction to the sinners "


" I ain't a buster kid I don't know " he replied while clearing my doubts with little annoyance . 


After that he said he was thirsty he pointed me out to a bar and asked me to fetch a drink i asked the bartender about wong for some reason it seemed like a good idea even after it being completely illogical
