Thar desert

We had to travel quickly to the designated spot where the dungeon raid was being held .

It was just 3 days travelling on land . Using hermes boots were useless to cover the distance because there were many obstacles such as monsters , trees , bushes , and most importantly people .

When i was the king i had lots of money but no time and when i dethroned myself i became broke but i still had no time .

Mc with me spent a lot of time in Raizon and was always overworked . So one day he posted a recruitment notice for staff members . But in the end it turned on him as he had the additional task of traning the trainees and regular office work . He also had to face a lot of criticism along the way .

The project we were working on was first for increasing the quality of life for the people and connecting both the surface and the city together .

But now i feel free as it is not our responsibility anymore . I hope Sara is having a great time . Meanwhile we will raid dungeons .

But before heading to the dungeon there was one thing that was stopping us . The desert of Thar .

Exceedingly high temperatures, sand worms and vultures and rattlesnakes all around . Frequent sandstorms . At night cold winds . sometimes the temperature drops to negative .

But there is a entity that all fear the guardian of the desert Or the desert scourge . But he hasn't been seen for years .

We couldn't go around the desert because it would take too much time . So we decided to cross it .

According to the map there is a outpost in the middle of the desert .

When i defeated the blood demon i also unlocked a hidden feature . A music player . As i was tired and there was nothing to see except the sand . I decided to play some of the songs that were available .

I put the songs on shuffle which was a big mistake .

Soon attracted by the song . The ground started to shale and from the ground the desert scourge appeared . It had brown scales and spikes attached to its sides it had a mouth which was filled with tooths from inside .On the outside it had two large fangs . From its appearance alone one could tell it was enraged . It was at least throce the size of a sand worm . Which is big in itself .

I was just readying myself then Mc stopped me in between by blocking me with his hand

Mc : Hold on , i got this .

Mc rotated his shoulders individually and cracked his neck . And removed his weapon a sword gifted by his subordinate to him . It was a sword made of mithril . The sword had a green colour And it's edge made it so that it could be easily used for stabbing .

But when Mc rushed towards the scouge with his sword . The scourge blocked his attack with his own fangs .

The scouge hurled Mc away from him .

Jay : Need some help , McElroy

McElroy: No i am okay . I just need a second

Thw scourge dived deep onto the ground and charged towards Mc . It location could be predicted by the shifting of sands

But the scourge was too fast and Mc too late to dodge . So thus he was hurled up in the air and was about to be gobbled up by the scourge and at this time i felt the need to step in .

But then i noticed that it was his plan all along . He pointed his blade towards the scouge and went inside his mouth in order to kill him from the inside . Using mana he created six frozen ice shards and he stuck it at each side of his throat and creating wounds as he slid down inside the scouge's mouth .

The scourged shreiked in pain as from one of the openings Mc returned. As he was about to take the final blow the scourge scurried away .

Mc came towards me and i high fived him

Jay : Nice work .

McElroy : Eh could have done better than that .

After that we started walking again . After a few hours had passed . And we were still walking . And a few minutes passed and we were still walking . And few seconds passed and we were still walking . God when does this end.

At this time Mc was enraged so he kicked the sand to calm himself down but he found something .

Beneath the sand was a man holding a hiltless sword ?

He had a small mustache and scars on his face , He was very fit . He had a twin scars on his face .

forming a cross on his left eye .

He had passed out from heatstroke. Even if we were tired and losing the will to live we lifted him up from the ground onto our shoulders . While walking McElroy administered water into him

After five minutes had passed .

McElroy: Can't we just drop him . I don't think i can take him much longer .

Jay : Just shut your trap and keep walking .

A few seconds later . A few minutes . A few hours and we could finally see the outpost .

Seeing it was like salvation. There was a rush of adrenaline which pushed ne forward . And when i reached the gate my knees stopped working and i collapsed from tiredness.

After sundown

I had taken a good rest drinking some drinks at a bar . I visited him .

Jay : So how is he doctor .

Doctor : His condition has been improving steadily . You don't need to worry now .

Jay : Thanks doc

Doctor : You shouldn't have bought him here .

Jay : Why .

Doctor : He is wanted because he slaughtered a village and then burned it .But then he bought a curse upon himself . He will always be remembered of the past . The sword he used to kill people transformed into an hiltless blade . So when he will use it to kill he will himself be hurt .

He will not be albe to use any other weapons .

As i am a doctor i have fullfilled my duties .

Jay : How can we lift the curse .

Doctor : I don't know .

Jay : One last question how do you know all this .

The doctor just smiles and vanishes into thin air .The stranger wakes up .

Stranger : Why have you bought me here again WHY DID YOU , OH GOD HIW MANY TIMES HAVE I TO SUFFER FROM THIS NIGHTMARE PLEASE KILL ME ALREADY . YOU YOU YOY YOU YOU YOU YOU MUST DIE .

He lifted his sword and charged towards me . I tried to fight him off but he was to powerful for me to handle .So i jumped out of the window
