Mind break

And now we were trapped under the snow unable to leave both of us using our mana . McElroy created a wind barrier to protect from hailstorm 


And fire magic to heat us up . This time our waste investment was finally useful . The flame sword was lighting the path as well as emitting heat .


The sword which made us go broke is finally of use to us .


Due to the blizzard path ahead wasn't visible . We were going absolutely blind until we stumbled upon a cave where a fire was lit .


The mercenary was there warming himself up .


McElroy: Why did you step inside the blizzard woth out us .


Mercenary: It's none of your business .


The three of us were sitting together side by side without anyone speaking. 


Mercenary: Do you know about the rebellion  .


Jay : What are you talking about what rebillion ?


Mercenary: It's nothing . You don't need to hear more . 


After 2 hours the snow had stopped and we had recovered our mana . The mercenary suddenly left again .


McElroy: Let him die i am not going to go after him this time .


This time when we stepped outside the field was clear . If something was trying to keep us out then why did it stop doing it now . 


After exploring we encountered a statue of a lady and a man holding a frozen rose .


The lady was the same as the statue at duke's house she was holding a rose . with another man . He was taller than her . Both looking in each other's eyes . Both of them were humans which were encased in ice but were alive .


I used fire magic to slowly melt the ice on both of them and broke the ice with a hammer . And both  of them were unconcious . They were taken to the cave . 


The mercinary returned and started demanding suddenly. 


The mercinary tried to reason with us . But finally gave up . He picked up his arms .


" You don't know what are you dealing with , Hand them over or there will be disastrous consequences " .


The fight was over before it even started as Mc broke his foot when he charged at us and mc interceptef by punching it .


He spat at the ground. " You think I'll answer you " . After that he commited suicide with a suicide pill in his mouth  .


What is going on what was he looking for why did he want them .


Why are these people alive why they didn't of hypothermia .


These questions were rushing into my mind .
