Mind break

It was too dark outside . Thus through a special spell taking 1.hour and lots of mana to prepare an artificial sun was conjured . All those who helped to conjure it were tired and weren't able to participate in the fight .


As the skeletons arrived the spell was shot upwards and it created an artificial sun .


First only the blazing blue eyes of the skeletons could be seen . But now their full army could be seen .


Consisting of skeletons weilding swords and spear , skeleton horse riders , Skeleton beasts . skeleton mages . And skeletons carrying banners . Their banners had a black background and on it there was skeleton head .


 Their numbers could be conpared to atleast 1259 soldiers . All of their eyes were blazing .


Even outside the gate our 278 soldier army was ready to defend .


 If my maths is correct then atleast one soldier has to kill 4.52 skeletons before perishing for a draw . And 6 for a win .


I wanted to test out my katana this was the perfect strenght test material . If its durability decreases even a little after an enchantment . I will be enraged .


We were on the frontline . Livia had summoned two rare beast known as shadow Jaguar . It is found in the shadow forests of Azra . Seeing it gave me a certain nostalgia but this beast was cooler than that other one .


His whole body was shadow like but there was one part on his glowing blue . Even his claws glowed . 


Joanne was in the back of the file as her profession was a healer . 


When the distance between the skeleton army and us was 500 meters they stopped . 


There was a weak wind blowing in the area and both of them were staring at each other .


They were waiting to wage war.  And after a sudden silence . The skeletons raised their banners up in the air and charged at us .

While we were waiting silently as they came near and near they triggered traps .


Some were blown to bits , some were tore into pieces,  some fell into a deep hole . 


After that the artillery started to shoot cannons which when hut the ground started exploding . 


But even they retialated by shooting arrows enchanted with magic and magic used by magic used by mages soon defeated the artillery . 


When they were 150 meters near the general in front of the file sitting on a horse shouted . 


And took his horse galloping ahead . While others followed shouting . 


And  both forces clashed with each other . The area was filled with noises of clashing , slashing , shouting , dying . And the air was filled with the smell of smoke and blood . It was truly disgusting . 


While Joanne's beast tore down skeletons she also assisted them by using a hammer to smash the heads of skeletons. 


Those who were injured were treated by healers . 


As for me i was delighted that the skulls of 65 skeletons wasn't enough for the durability of the katana to decrease .


The true purpose of the katana was that it was made for a specific skill .


This allowed me to cut 78 skeletons all at once at blazing speed . 


The raid was still going on several soldiers from our side fell victim to death by the hands of these skeletons . Their sheer number was starting to overwhelm us 


Espicially the skeleton general from  behind was ordering the skeleton mages . He was like the king in chess finishing him off will turn the tide of war in our favour . 


Thus the order was given to us . Lightning strikes fire balls explosion ,metal spikes eruption  were taking place all over the place as both skeleton and human mages were trying to kill each other .


And even sometimes even i was in the blast radius of the spells . 


Are they blind or do they view me as their enemy . It was a literal definition of friendly fire . 


But i decided to see them later and forgive them IN MY WAY .


After pushing through the ranks for 4 hours . I managed to get to the general .
