Mind break

The calamity caused serious loss of life . Almost 37.7 % of percent of total people died due to the war between skeletons . Leaving nothing but death behind . Her diary is very massive which contains a very huge comprehension of her daily life . But still there is no reason written for such a change . And what happened of it . It is locked deep within the inventory the safest place in the universe .

Even after setting foot outside the office with her . Laura patiently waiting for us to return .


I guess we needed to talk . Because when I recovered after the dragon incident and saw the terrified  look on people's faces I just wanted to run away . From everything . 


Like every adventure from differnt isekai other world sources . The start is very rough.  It wad the same for us . Even though I had a map we were wandering aimlessly looking for somewhere to go . The dungeon actually felt like just an excuse . To push the feeling aside . 


During our journey we got scammed many times.  Took part in bandit and monster subjugation request . Many times got on the brink of death but still prevailed.  Joined the guild in Elba. Brought down Tempest. Became a king . Saved a wandering soul in the desert.  Those were the times I felt like a warrior . But there was a problem as we travelled we soon lost the count of the days that had passed and started somewhere from between 2½ and 3 months. And even the raid was delayed many times 


And now I am again standing before her utterly speechless . As she looks at both of us to say something . And we had nothing but just a simple " Hey , nice to see you " . And was met with an awkward " Hey " . At this point the conversation had died in its own grave .


" I am sorry  lying to you about the jewel " .


" They were going to be awarded to you anyways " .


" Sorry to interrupt the two of you but we have to leave very urgently " . McElroy was a savior .


She noded with a sad " yeah , sorry for taking up your time " . 


And both of us left and never crossed paths with one another .


' Sometimes you want to say something and even say it . But this isn't the life of a protagonist that it will go the way you want to . Or there will be an unexpected rebound .There will be these kind of moments but remember .   Your life is the most precious thing you possess .
