Diamond beasts

I was facing a time travel dilemma . The one most asked is that , you are sent to the past then would you kill Hitler when he is a child or would you let the tragedy happen .

It's exactly the same . I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. What is the correct answer . One might say to kill to save millions of lives .

But when you're the one in the place it's not a easy thing to do .

You will hesitate , your decision making skill will go numb , your hands will vibrate , your body will be chilled to death .

Or so I'm told.

But yes I can't take the decision .

Era held my hand tightly and was watching me with a gazeful and somewhat furious eye .

And Maria ran down the stairs to help her father in the bar downstairs.

Jay :

I run the little girls head and then quickly remembered that she's older than me .

Era :

Her reactions were so cute both of us were blown with awe . Now it feels like we aren't talking to an adult.

Era :

My body was in a shaky position from the travelling with the caravan . From Chroma to the southern frontier it would take atleast 1.3 days straight . I didn't expect a detour of all things .

There were a lot more things to talk about but I think it would better for another time.

The rooms were a lot cleaner but I do miss my dorm room. It had everything lights , a fan , a thermostat . And my most trusted friend my laptop . I wonder is it still there or it got stolen .

The matresses were felt both hard and soft at the same time . And it allowed me to sleep more comfortably. I slept around 1 pm . When Era called us . I washed my face with water by finally after countless trials .

I managed to create 10 ml water . I filled it in a jar over and over and washed my face . Descended down the stairs where our food arrived at the perfect time

If I were to talk about controlling other elements well let's just say I'm better off using the stones .

Maria became delighted with the response and took off as she ran towards the door and hopped to open the door . She grabbed the door handle but her height was short so she couldn't pull it backwards . So Era pulled the door and Maria let go of the door .

We exited the bar and now on the streets of the village .

While it was a matter of few steps for us it took a lot of steps for both Era and Maria . So we had to walk slowly. But their spirits were high so they started skipping steps. Even at times running for no reason just to be ahead of us .

While walking Maria whispered something to Era and both started giggling . They were truly having blissful unadulterated fun.

We reached somewhere a school where they taught magic .

Maria :

We're here . This is a place where they teach you magic . Look they are training the mages right now in the field .

There were mages on the field dressed in black . Standing in a single file . Alongside them was another dressed in formal clothes most likely their professor .

Professor:

The students aimed their arms towards a ragdoll .

Professor:

But nothing happened . After almost 3 minutes a fireball appeared and was shot at a stone target .

McElroy:

I didn't know fire magic was that difficult to cast .

Maria :

Surprised already , these are the honors students of the academy the top cut . The pride of the

Maria :

Their chanting speed is so high , that their opponent don't even get to open their moves before them.

Maria :

I want to be an elite mage too in the future . Now I can create a tiny fire . But it's too hard for me . So it doesn't work everytime .

McElroy:

Their magic doesn't look that good to me .

They say the walls , roads , even the air has eyes and ears which can hear what you say .

So a angry teenager rampaged towards McElroy.

Teenager:

We are the top class of these lands . The highest breed with the most brillant magic and you sare defile our name .

In our honor I challenge you to a magic duel .

I suggest not to fall in a fight with a boy but McElroy was fired up . The fires of teaching a lesson burnt intensely within his eyes .

Quite a crowd was drawn out seeing one of the top students would be fighting a nobody .

The boy tossed a wand to McElroy.

Which was caught in midair by McElroy.

And the boy started casting . He was thinking that he would be an easy target and by not teaching him anything about chanting , it would just make him lose .

McElroy's mind thought something.

He pointed the wand towards the student and noticed that the wand was actually pulling away mana from him towards itself .

And when the wand becomes full of mana it releases the mana which causes a conversion with the chanting and the type of attack would be determined.

But if you do nothing nothing happens . It just can't hold any mana . If there is no casting it would be just a stick full of mana. Just like the elemental stones.

Boy :

I request help from the Lord of the seas , who rules over the waters of these worlds . I Baron Raqviolas want to give me the power to show him ---

McElroy: (Loudly in a musical manner)

Oh you fool of a boy (Points his stick towards him ) Listen to my plea, you moronic boy

You should take the defeat for me you're nothing but a toy . In this life you should atleast have a house and a wife before I break your pride with strife .

Raqviolas :

Enough , take my double combination attack , Ice and Water spire.

A 4 set of spikes were formed 2 of ice and 2 of water . Towering over the child .

Raqviolas:

McElroy dodged the ice with skipping steps . Thoroughly humiliating the boy .

Jay :

What then came was an onslaught of water balls roughly the size of a small ball . Hitting him on the face and every part of his body . He wasn't that injured but he stood on his feet without taking a fall .

Maria when saw McElroy's magic she got excited .

Her eyes sparkled towards the magic McElroy used .

That was way different from what Ive learned . How did you do that Uncle you must get him teach me magic .

Jay :

I finally know what he meant . The magic in this era is retarded than the original .

Era :

We started walking and the people were running in opposite direction to us .

There were 2 monsters covered with diamonds on their back . And not just a layer of diamond but full on large diamond crystals growing in their back

Their skin were grey and black and they kinda looked like dragons . But they had no wings and there were diamond in the place of scales .

Era :

These are known as diamond beasts . In this era .

They are now an endangered species in the original time .

McElroy:

These people can't fight back we must help them .

Jay :
