Once again out heroes are travelling on foot ... umm scratch that they are flying literally skipping through the lands . Jay is flying through the skies while holding on to an already terrified Era . Behind him is McElroy with his pressurized jet stream .
Due to this they have cut their time of travelling from 5 to 3 hours .
And they landed on solid ground .
Era :
What happened to travelling on land via carriage of other things . Aren't they the staple of travelling of any fantasy story
Jay :
They're very slow and don't cover enough distance . And as you know we don't have the powers of teleportation so this is what we have to settle with .
While I was having a debate with Era an event took place . We were surrounded by bandits .
And their leader came forward.
Leader :
You have guts to come to our stronghold . I commend that . Leave all your possessions including that girl and you can leave . Or else you die .
Jay : (Unfazed)
Can't you see we are having an important conversation. Take your banditry elsewhere .
Leader : (Annoyed)
You sure have guts arguing with me on my ground . Now I'll not even let you leave alive .
The leader issued a command and all of them started to gang up on the group . With their weapons .
Jay :
Sonic blade . Non lethal style
Within his 5 meter radius every bandit was pushed back in an blink . But the blade Jay used was blunt so they weren't hurt much .
Jay :
This was a warning if you want pain then come at me .
Bandit :
We won't let you get away with it .
Jay :
I don't understand if you're simply determined or retarded .
They rushed with weapons such as axes , swords , knives and other metal based weaponry .
And those weapons shot them in the foot ,literally.
A part of iron from every bandits weapon came off and then accelerated then to hit the foot . Their speeds varied as some completely pierced the foot while for some they remained stuck in the foot.
Half of the bandits writhed in pain and the other half traumatized .
Leader :
Don't falter attack the other one .
They made a wrong choice McElroy was already furious when they said to leave Era with them . With his burning sense of justice running in his veins .
McElroy:
Trash like you should just be killed .
Jay :
McElroy don't kill them ...
McElroy:
But why now they just were about to kill us and take Era as hostage .
Jay : (Evil)
You didn't let me finish. Don't kill them make them so traumatized that they would think countless times before picking up a weapon .
McElroy:
Trash like them should be punished .
Now the next set of events are very graphic to describe so please understand...
All of the bandits were on the ground bowing to McElroy. Including their leader.
And from the distance we hear another voice .
? : Stop right there .
And wouldn't you know it's the dream girl of every degenerate a cat girl with ears .
I always thought that a biologically accurate cat girl would be bipedal , human like , have body hair and whiskers .
If it were the cat with human characteristics it would be the perfect nightmare fuel .

Bandit : (Weak voice)
Please save us from this monsters .
After saying this he passed out .

And McElroy came up with the worst response in that situation.
McElroy:
We dished them justice .

When we were travelling they tried to kill us .

We are travellers , travelling to the same location you are from .

We started walking as my mana had became half empty and McElroy's had run out .
Leris :
So why you guys are going to the city ?
Era :
To gather some supplies .
Leris :
And from there where will you go ?
Era :

Leris :
Ohh that place. Why though ? Out of all places .
Jay :
Hey Leris what is the gathering.
Leris :
The gathering is a council made from each member representing their race . They gather ever 4 years and discuss their problems and try to find solutions like a council .
There are exactly 1 member for each race . They are as follows Elves , Dwarves , Beasts like such as me , Demons , Humans , Bird like races , vampires and the Twins .
Jay :
What about dragons .
Leris :
The dragons are just too much for the council as their demands keep increasing exponentially so they just removed them entirely.
Jay :
The Twins ?
Leris :
They twins are creatures which either exist in a superposition. Or clones if themselves. Their clones may or may not have ego of their own .
Jay :
There was something that struck me as odd .
Leris :
Hmm ?
Jay :
Why did you use beast like , instead of something like beastkins .
Leris :
Creatures such as me share majority of my characteristics with Humans instead of animals .
That's why we are classified as beast like instead of Beastkins .
McElroy:
Don't you think it's a bit unfair to distuinguish many such as you in such a way . Stuck somewhere in between.
Leris :
Humans have a tendency to classify everything.
When we give something a classification we categorize it in different category . And it helps understanding of the particular classification even better .
McElroy: (Didn't understand so moving on )
So you're from the beast like race .
Leris :
Yes , more specifically in from a feline like species . Or a descendent of feline race . But I share most of my charecter with Humans .
McElroy:
But don't feline have literally everything different from a human so how did you end up this way .
Leris :
My blood , I guess but I don't know .
Jay was having guesses about how but Era gave him a sheering gaze as she didn't like what he was thinking .
After travelling we were finally here . The City of Azar. It shared architectural similarities with the City of Harmony . Moreover the fact that it's been a while since we have been to king controlled cities .
In fact hardly few areas have kings controlling the territory . But in some areas the kings are removed from their seats and proper goverment have been established. Through a revolution of course .
So in the present we have villages , small towns , outposts , cities with revolutionized governments, kingdoms with Kings . Ruined places attacked by none other than the skeletons. Bandit outposts and lastly dungeons I mean secret underground shelters .
Once again we are moving off the topic.
We entered the city of Azar quite easily due to Leris . As the gate was heavily guarded .
But when we entered the city we saw diversity of races . Every race was present except vampires because more specifically they are many times more vulnerable to uv radiations than others .
And wait a minute is that ? A walking bipedal Lion ?
Is that an elf walking towards us ?
Elf :
Leris , you were supposed to be present for today's council meeting as the head of security.
Leris started showing hand signs to the Elf is that some secret code I'm not supposed to understand. No wait a minute is that Sign Language !?
Is the elf deaf ? Looking at him he seems like a plain old man with pointy ears and a staff made out of some sturdy wood .And his robes white in colour with embroidery in the middle.
Seems normal .
Elf :
So you're the travellers on a pilgrimage. It's rare to see someone make the journey nowadays. There were lots before you but now you can hardly see anyone.
Elf :
You must be tired . Leris show them to the inn.
Leris :
