Chapter 5 - Brothers forever

The scene,

After Edwards funeral, Cody arrives to the bureau,and searching for Veronica,he asked some of people over there but no-one knows about her.It was also mentioned that she was a picking up his call.

Cody went to Myles cabin and Myles was also not there. Finally Cody find Myles and Veronica. Myles interrogating Veronica as a

prime suspect for Edward's death because she is the only one with him when he died.

Myles - Tell me your full name.

Veronica - Veronica Carter

Cody - What are you doing Myles,she is one of us.

Myles - You stay out of my interrogation Cods,I know what I'm doing.

So Miss. Carter what was you're doing at that time?

Cody - She probably taking care of him,at that time, happened to you.

Myles -(aggressively) I asked her Cody,let her finish first understand.

Ya so What was you're doing?(ask to Veronica)

Veronica - Sir I was just following your orders, beleive me.

Myles - So,from how many years you're working for Seven,and killing people like that.

Cody - Are you out of your mind Myles,she is my assistant and a part of Special Crime Branch.

Myles - Wofff(exhales),Cody,get the fuck out of the interrogation room.

Cody -(shocked look)What you just say?

Myles -(stands up and come closer to Cody)

I said get the fuck out of this room.

Cody - Haha,Who you think you're, to order me?

Veronica - That's ok sir,let him interrogate .

Cody - Shut up Veronica,no one's gonna interrogate you in my presence.

Myles - I don't want to see your chit chat understand,just get out from here ,you're distrubing my interrogation.

Cody - Which interrogation?This is what your anger is saying fellas,you really think that she can do something like that.

Myles - Then tell,who was the last person with him,he was fine before we leave him to her. She is the who knows about this from the beginning, that's why she working with us.

She works under seven, remember when I gave you guys 2 days to do your important work,for those 2 days she always went toh my cabin and read Eddy's files and other files too.

She tooks advantage of his sickness, can't you understand that.

Cody - Shutttt upp..... Don't say a single word after that, she was trying to help is from the beginning and this is what you think about her, how pathetic.

Veronica,you come with me.

I'm taking her with me do what you can.

Myles - Cods,I was never interested in this case until you request me to help you guys,and this is what you're doing.

I thought we're brother but I was wrong, every single person here thinks only about themselves.

Cody - Done you say that Myles,you never show your interest until Seven challenges you. You're the biggest selfish here.

And now a kid die and you can't save him so you're just showing your aggression to a innocent one.

Veronica lets go,come with me.

Myles - Then solve case yourself,if you don't need me anymore. I'm leaving The special crime branch. Do what you guys can do,and I'll do what I want to.

Cody - Myles, don't take decision in anger,

Myles - (smile) Thank you for that.

Myles leaves the interrogation room and brought his things from his cabin,and going out of the bureau.

Robert - Hey, Myles what you're thinking about this case?

Myles - Ask Cody.

Robert - Is something happened?

Myles - (Went out without saying anything).

Cody - Hey fellas,are you sure about that??

Myles - It doesn't matters anymore.

Cody - Well keep in touch brother. You already have my number.

Cody -(inside his mind)I never mean that but I know it's just your anger spitting out,so I'm giving you some time, and I know you'll be back my brother. You'll always be my bro for me.

Myles - Take care Cody, and don't fall for anyone,the world is not something you can see with naked eyes,

Cody - (smiles and show a thumbs up.)

Myles get inside the car and leave the bureau,my man sitting inside another car noticing both of them and n starts following Myles car from behind.

Myles suddenly notices that car,and keep on moving.

Cody - (Inside the bureau) Veronica where are those files of victims.

Veronica - They're in Myles sir's cabin.

I think he take them with him.

Cody - I see,I have Edwards reports let's find out what happened inside that hospital.

What was his name ummm..

Dr.Flint Fernandez,I want to talk with him.

We have to find him.

Veronica - Understood sir,.

(They both went to hospital for Dr. Flint and Veronica asked for him in casualty).

Veronica - Sir, there's something wrong.

Cody - What..Why.?

Veronica - They're saying there's no one name Dr.Flint Fernandez, for last 8 years no one of this name has joined.

Cody - How is it possible...?He used to be a famous name.

Cody - (remembering) Yes sir how can I help you??(asked by Dr.Flint)

Veronica - Sir see what I found, there's actually a famous Doctor name Dr. Flint Fernandez.But the worried thing is he already passed away three years ago.

He didi suicide.

Cody - (shocked) no way,it couldn't be.

Veronica - What..?

Cody - (remembering there past conversation) "3 years ago in Los Angeles,there was a big murder mystery arise,a man was manipulating people for doing suicides(said by Myles)."

So it is true, that person and seven are linked. We have to tell Myles about this.

Veronica - I forget my phone in bureau, what about you??

Cody - My battery is dead...dammit let's drive to his home, there's a charging point in my car.

Veronica - Do you really think that we have to?? I mean what happened today and it's so dark out there too.

I think we should go there tomorrow.

Cody - Well even I'm not sure that he is really at his home or not.

I think you're right, we should go there tomorrow.

But we have to find some more clues about Sevens next victim. It is difficult without Myles but not impossible.

Veronica - So what should we do next??

Cody - First we have time deliver this information to Myles,I have to time charge my phone for that.

Myles reading files at his house,

Door Bell rings.

Myles open the door

Myles - Yes??

Ohh Dr.Flint how are you?,come inside.

Flint - woff.. well Mr. Swan,I heard about your brother.

Myles - Hmm..Will you take something.

Flint - No, thanks for asking.

Myles - Can I ask you something?

Flint - Yeah ofcourse..

Myles - I read all the files and report of previous victims,and is a coincidence that they all treated themselves from you.

Flint - Huh!!...

Myles - Ok leave that,but isn't it strange that you call me Mr. Swan.

Because I never told you my last name.

(Flint smiles)

(Both Cody and Veronica went to there car and Cody put his phone on charging.)

Cody - So Veronica, are you actually reading reports all the time as Myles said??

Veronica - Yes sir,this is my first case and I get an opportunity to work with you both so I don't want to do a single mistake. That's why I was reading the reports.

Cody - haha...Well When I was in your positions,I use to do the same time impress my senior. At that time Mr. Robert was my senior and I work for him.

Veronica - ohh well that's great, and what about Myles sir??

Cody - We both are highschool buddies. He was always a great and intelligent person.

He used to do some detective works to run his orphanage.

Veronica - Whatt?? He runs an orphanage.

Cody - Yaa well it is tragic that he was groomed there,he didn't have his parents from the beginning,.

They leave him and his brother in front of that orphanage.

Veronica - He have a brother too ?

Cody - Ya..They are twins, Myles and Morris.

No one even ever see him as he never reveals his face to anyone. I was lucky that we talk once just because of Myles.

Veronica - Their parents throw both of their child,how tragic..

Cody - Yaa..That's why he was so connected and concerned about that Kid.

Because he sees himself in Eddy,Eddy was suffering from some issues Myles have once in his life,.

He is a self made man and My true brother.

I'm sure soon he will forget what happened today hehe..

Veronica - Well I never know about that and not even he showed his grief ever,he is such a nice person.

Ahh boss you're Phone,I think it is enough charged now,.

Cody - Oh open it then,

Verona - okkh..

Ohh you're right sir Myles forget it so early.heheh

Cody - What do you mean..?

Veronica - See he made 15 calls to you and Also leave a message for you.

Cody -(with a surprised look) 15 calls??

He never do that such things.

Veronica - Ohh I see,he is saying that his mother is calling him so he is going.

Veronica - Ahhh.... What happened sir,?

(Cody's hands start shivering,)

Cody - It couldn't be.

(Cody turn the car,and move to Myles house.

When they reached there,Cody came out and start running towards the door.)

Veronica -(shouting) Sirrr.. What happened,?

(Cody opened the door. Both Cody and Veronica enter inside.)

Veronica - (shocked) Na..na...No way.

Cody - (scream) Mylesssss...

(There's blood on the ground, Myles lying down,a knife was stabbed on his neck. He was totally unconscious.)

(Song in the background🎵)
