Chapter 50 - Choir of Fools

"Tenochtitlan? Are you saying…?" I asked back, quite puzzled.

"Exactly. The prison that you broke out of just a few weeks ago," Caleb replied, surprisingly uneasy about the proposal.

"That's the name of the place?" Francis looked at us, waiting for an answer he didn't really need.

"After all, it is a complex on the water, with multiple buildings. I guess they were just not clever enough with the naming," Caleb explained.

"Really? I thought it was about the time that their last Emperor was cornered into a house by Cortés?" I replied. I read about the stories, but I wasn't sure I got the exact details right. May have been the other way around?

"The what by the who?" Francis and Baulder said in a choir. I guess I was the weird one here.

"Either way, let's decide on a course of action," I added, "Shall we go, despite everything?"

"And get caught again?" Francis said, in a dry voice, "Are you sure she's there?" he turned towards Caleb.
