Chapter 59 - Pain, Blood and Suffering

We had quite the journey in front of us. We were already seated inside the jet, yet with every single mile passed, I felt like I was left behind. I can't exactly pinpoint the reason for that, it was just one of those anxiety things, I guess. For most of the ride, we just sat in silence, trying to mentally prepare for what's awaiting us.

I'll be honest here. I was getting scared. Not for just one reason, but for a whole bunch of them. Take Warden Gramps for example: I couldn't lift my fingers up to him. That man would've beat me half dead, then thrown me back into my old cell, if it wasn't for Francis. I hope you didn't forget, but that same man was working with the one we're most likely gonna face in a few hours. If I think about that one logically, they're at least around the same strength, either physically, or some other way. I don't think I could beat someone like that.
