Chapter 64 - Nemean

After a few steps we took, the lights lit up, giving us the unknown power, that is eyesight. It burned a little, but we were too much in a hurry to care about it. The walls were a weird shade of white-blue, I couldn't quite tell which one it was. Looking back at Francis, he was still nervous, probably a bit more than before, but I got a bit more calm. I don't know which one of us was in the right, but a little bit of worrying never killed anyone, right?

He turned towards me, and with a slight unease, he gestured toward the hallway, and once I looked there, I knew we could be in deep shit. In there, a bunch of guards were patrolling. The problem there, was that previously it was dark. Did they actually see in the dark? I mean I guess sure, these were Were-Beasts after all. Before they turned they eyes towards us, Francis acted, and caught me once more, to do a final dash towards the holding cells.
