With him just taking his sweet place on the throne of some random country, we were all pretty shocked, to say the least. When he introduced himself to us back then, well, we learned about his heritage, but he never mentioned the fact that he was the King of Thracia. That one, to be honest, left us all a bit speechless. Except for Ixion, classic Ixion. 

He then told us the story, of how he once fell in love with a man. That man, was the very same person, that now was the lover of a god. His own ancestor, Apollo, nonetheless. He told us, that he is going to win him back from Apollo, by any means necessary, and that he needed to do this with his own hands, so we decided to help him at least get to that point. If this was important to him, it was to us as well.
