"What do you mean?" Francis looked at me with a surprised face.

"Last time," I said, after a short pause, "When I talked to your father at the birthday party, he told me he already knows who the next head will be."

"And?" Cesare interrupted, "Who is it?"

"Dan will have to tell him," Marco interrupted, as he was struggling to stand up, "He has to know that first."

"But if you knew it," Cesare said, "then does that mean, that this fight was more or less meaningless?"

"No," he answered, "This fight wasn't for deciding the next head."

"What was it for then?" Francis yelled at his old man.

"To get you to be close again," he smiled, "I lied to you about a lot of things, I had to."

"Sure," Cesare waved into the air, "What else did you lie about then? Everything you told us on the way down was a lie then?"
