Now that the registry details were done, and the scanning tool was in hand, Makai and I started to head into the store for the actual fun. However, the moment that we left the counter Makai started to head toward the door. Was he not into this? Did he not want to make this registry? Was I the only one excited about this?

I almost started to panic, but I didn't need to. Makai wasn't running away from this. He wasn't abandoning me at all. He was just going to get a shopping cart from near the door.

"Why did you get that?" I asked him as I held the tool and the bag in my hands.

"Well, we don't want to carry that bag the entire time, do we? And I thought that we could buy a few things today. That will be fun in my opinion. It would be a little sad to come and look at these things and not be able to buy at least a couple things for the babies. So, let's find a few things that we can get for the babies while we are here."
