First journey

One man and one pokemon were on their way to the Jubilife City. The man was happily chirping except the face of the Riolu screamed of depression.

Why? It was not because she was weaker than him, she had already given up. It was also not because she was unable to exercise due to him forcing her by his side.

It was because this man touched her everywhere, every morning in the name of daily check up. She was never going to get married! She would have to be single all her life!!

If the man knew what she was thinking, he would definitely smack her. She was just a three month old kid and she was thinking of marriage and kids.

The man's journey has been 'smooth' till now. He met Nando in the Pokemon center and was presented a song to cure his depression. He wasn't depressed so he fought back with words of his own. The result he was booed by all the girls there for shaming their Idol boy.

He then became depressed. He was greeted with the sight of pokepollice after he left Pokemon center as Nurse Joy thought he was a pokemon abuser and reported him.

Officer Jenny was so 'happy' to see him that she took 500 pokedollars as his memento.

' Does this whole town has no other officer. What happened to the men I saw during my first time in jail. Where do they all went?'

Internally screamed the man with an aggrieved expression.

The Riolu was happy to see it first but then became upset later herself. She was an emotion pokemon, she can sense that he was really depressed hence she became upset too. She was just a child and even if she didn't know she already got close to him in the past four days. She wanted to prove her strength to him more than anything now. That was also the reason she trained that hard except she didn't knew this feeling and thought it was shame.

The man was depressed because that was his last savings from the 10,000 pokedollars. The professor did give him money but he had already prepared it to buy something else for his Riolu. It was the proper food. She was eating normal pokemon food that provided little to no benefits except making her full. She needed more nutrition as she was weaker and smaller than the Riolu her age should have been.

He was genuine in his feelings. He doesn't remember most of his past life nor does he know if he had a family or not. After coming here, she is his family, he considered her as a family and he wanted to do his all to make her stronger. She was still a child and children seldom keep their feelings inside themselves.

He was fine, more than he should be. That super serum made him something esle. He can lift more than 10 tons easily and didn't need food for three days. He had already checked it. The amount he ate also didn't increase. It was just the same as any other person.

He doesn't need those things. He also doesn't like to waste money on unnecessary things like clothes, shoes and health products. He only bought the ones with the most durability and usage.

He had already seen news a lot of times after coming here and all of them featured either deaths of trainer due to various reasons or some companies new product or calamities.

People die while they were on their pokemon journeys. This isn't a fictional world where any person can be saved or no one would die it you do something stupid.

That was the reason why he brought all his things even though he became a debtor because of it.

He didn't have any choice. He was transferred to this world. There was no money, no properties, no work degrees, there was nothing in his name. He didn't even have a place. For now.

Pokemon League was the best way for him to earn his livelihood while also fulfilling one of his past dreams; the others he doesn't remember.

That's why he was on his way to Jubilife City. He can get to the delivery there and from the money left, he can buy things for her. He can also find other odd jobs as the Jubilife City was big and with his strength he could do a lot of work. He can easily work, earn money and train his Riolu at the same time. It was a three in one offer.

• Two days later*

"Now I know why the Pokemon added show many filler episodes in their series. The was too long. The distance between the Jubilife City and Sandgem town should be more than 100 miles."

" I ran as fast as I can and my speed should be around 20 km per hour in the forest. The road was not plain, it wasn't even a straight road. How in the world do they transport things to the Sandgem town? Air dock or something or maybe just use a pokemon for it. I forgot, they have spacial technology to send stuff from one place to another."

"I rested the night at the forest as I needed to feed Riolu at regular intervals. The next morning I had to fight with some groups of beedrill. It was a real temple run. I got lost because of them. "

" After using the pokenav, finally I am here."

The man said to no one in particular. He was standing before a sign that read: Welcome to Jubilife City.

He was happy. He was really happy. His relationship with the Riolu has improved. She listened to him when he said to stop training or to sleep.

The man and his Riolu went towards the city. He showed his ID at the checkout point and entered the City.

He called the Proffessor's assistant and asked him the place of delivery from a nearby street PCO. It even provided video calling facility.

He called Proffessor Rowan to tell him of his arrival at the Jubilife City.

" So fast. How did you get there so fast? I thought you would take at least a week before you reach Jubilife City. Did you take the poketrain."

" There is something like that? No, a flying type expert gave me lift after seeing my ragged clothes when he was passing by the way. He is going to participate in the contest or something. Tell me more about the poketrain."

"Oh so that's what it was, still you should be careful and not ride any stranger Pokemon, they may have some bad intentions towards you. Poketrain is the travel transport used by many. It has different routes and availability. If not for Mt. Corronet that divided the Sinnoh region they would have been connected to every major city. Ok bye. See you later, Professor Sycamore is going to visit today so I will talk to you later."
