Nothing like you

Jax was the commander of Team Rocket. He was ranked 13th. He was the one who sent his right hand man to work as a spy to Ajax. He wanted the thing that Ajax got from the Magma ruins of Hoenn. It was an egg of a experimented Moltres. Ajax had hidden is somewhere and he wanted the information for that. Whether Ajax tell him obediently or not was another matter.

He chose this job in the Sinnoh region for the purpose of getting close to Ajax. He wanted that legendary Pokemon egg.

He got the information that Ajax was able to find the target and was going to kill him alone. If not for the informer then Ajax really would have succeeded.

Now Jax wanted both. He wanted the contribution for the killing of the target and that information on mutated Moltres egg.

He was on his way to the location where the transceiver of his men was last seen. They have not moved for half an hour.

Jax felt something amiss.

"Halt."

He ordered his men.

"Mismagius, cast an illusion around us. All of you, slow down your flying speed, something is wrong there."

Jax was not stupid. If he was, then his competitors would have killed him already.

"Cast all the detection skills you have. Stay away from each other. Don't make groups. That will make it easier to target all of you."

He commanded his men.

All the grunts scattered in the air. All of them were in high alert.

"Sir, we found three people near us. They must have used teleport."

"Attack them."

"Sir two of the disappeared."

"Aargh"

"Ugh."

"Aaah."

"Aargh"

"Aargh"

"We are under attack sir, the enemy is attacking one at a time. Our members are dying."

"Attack the trainer. His Pokemons will go to protect him. Quickly inform the headquarters that the intel on the trainer is false. He has two strong Pokemons on the commander level or above."

"Yes Sir."

Jax rose up high in the air. He was looking at the whole battlefield while giving commands on the communicater. More than 25 grunts died in just fifteen seconds.

He knew it was a pre-planned ambush. The enemy must have planned it far ahead of them. The intel on the target must have been deliberately leaked.

He was going to inform the headquarters but he was mentally attacked.

It must be telepathy. He barely asked his Mismagius to cancel it.

He flew higher in the sky. He would be able to know the situation by his communicater, albeit not clearly but he would still be able to command them. He had already sent the message for reinforcement but it will take more than an hour for them to come from the Alamos Town even if they rode their fastest Flying Pokemon.

As for fleeing, the moment he chose to flee, the grunts would be taken out without his commands and he will be surrounded and killed later.

He was a commander level agent and he had two commander level Pokemons too, but he didn't want to risk it. The opponent's Gardevoir was stronger that both his Pokemons combined.

This was something that even Sky didn't know. He underestimated his worth to the International Police. For them, Sky was their treasure trove. Unlike the Pokemon Police who barely had that much connections to Sky. International Police really trusted him.

That's why they sent a Pokemon from the higher ups. The Gardevoir was one of the strongest Pokemon that they could give him who would listen to him without any other thoughts. They had stronger personal Pokemons but they would seldom obey someone other than their leaders.

They did so that he can be protected. The Gardevoir could handle any Pokemon till its not on the level of a Legendary.

This was enough to show their faith in him. This was also the reason why Gardevoir listened to every order of Sky and that made him think that Gardevoir were really strong and obedient Pokemons.

The Gardevoir was also the one who calmed the Magmortar into listening to Sky.

The Pokemon Police sent that Magmortar only for the protection of Sky. It would have done nothing if the Gardevoir has not forced it to.

In just a minute and more than half of the grunts were dead.

The Final attack occurred. All the remaining grunts were hit by rock projectiles. All of them were dead.

He was the last one left.

He was desparately flee.

"Mismagius, night veil."

He ordered his Mismagius to cause a distraction.

He succeeded.

Or that's what he thought before a Pokemon attacked him from above. He could just see a blinding light before he died.

....

All the bodies were floating towards the direction of the man.

He looked at the dead bodies and then the broken pokeballs and injured Pokemons.

"Ask them whether they would go free or die by my hands."

He said to the Gardevoir.

"Voir." { They said that they would like to be released free. They did this all because they have no choice. They also wanted to escape but the pokeballs of the Team Rocket are weird, they trap them and tortures them if they forcefully try to get out.}

"Ok, let them free then. Only if you have checked their emotions. If they are lying then kill them."

Sky said to the Gardevoir.

"You should rest a little. I will send you to the Pokemon Center after one another fight, till then here take these potions and berries."

Sky said to the panting Magmortar. The Magmortar was tired. He had launched more than 60 Flamethrowers on all the grunts. His aim was perfect but that took a mental and physical toll on him.

"Make all of them unconscious and bind them using the rope."

This was his final order before resting. Three huge cuts that nearly sliced him into two can be seen on his body. This was after it had started to heal.

Gardevoir heeded his words. He used the Potions on Magmortar, gave him a few berries and tied the remaining humans while making them unconscious.

All the Pokemons were gone at that time. Only the three of them were there.

All three of them rested a little before the final battle.

....

Tut tut tut

"Yes Looker, what happened?"

The higher up said the Looker. It was also this man who gave his Gardevoir to Sky.

"He found the Galactic hideout in the Eterna Forest. He said there is something going on and that he is going to check it. For now, I want the permission for the assault team. "

Looker said to his Higher up.

"That's good, anything on Team Rocket? "

The higher up asked.

"Well, he killed the first group of Team Rocket with your Pokemon and has given us the location of the other two Team Rocket troops."

"That is also a good news. I will contact the Pokemons Police to get the assault permission. Tell that man to not go to the Experiment base. We don't know what kind of monstrosity they have created there."

The higher up said to Looker.

"I did Sir but he insisted. He said that he felt familiar with it."

"Ok. I will get the assault team to go there as fast as I can. Nothing should happen to him."

Tut tut tut.

Looker looked at the empty screen and sighed.

He was recalling the words that Sky said.

Justice really comes with a price.
