Meditite immediately used Detect to foresee the next place where Gabite was going to attack and Gabite used Dig to hide underground and went beneath the Meditite and used Dragon pulse. It was dodged by Meditite.
S – Dragon claw combo.
Gabite rushed from the ground to attack the Meditite.
M– Use Protect then Drain Punch.
Meditite used protect and prepared for the drain punch. The moment the protect broke, Meditite was swarmed with Flamethrower.
S – Finish it with Dragon claw.
Gabite immediately attacked the still suffering Meditite with Dragon claw.
Referee – Meditite is unable to battle, Gabite wins. Challenger 3 – Maylene 2. Does the Challenger wants to change his Pokemon?
S – I do. Froslass.
Referee – Then the game begins in 3–
M – Go Machoke.

Thr announcement of the referee's was the start of the one side battle.
S – Freeze the whole battlefield.
M– Oh no you won't, Machoke use Rock to–
Froslass froze the whole battlefield including the Machoke before Maylene could give her instructions to it.
S – Start the next battle. I have an urgent matter to attend.
M– ....
Sky said to the referee while looking at his Poketch. Something came up.
Referee – The Challenger wins the round. Will the Challenger change his Pokemon?
S – I would. Raven finish it, I don't have much time.
Sky said to Raven as he came out of his shadow. He had registered Raven as the substitute Pokemon in case his three Pokemons were unable to fight.
"I will." Raven said to Sky in his dark, hoarse voice. All the Gym staff were in awe at the sight of Darkrai.
Referee – Then the battle Starts in 3, 2, 1, commence the Battle.
"Dark void." Raven used Dark void at a speed that was faster than Lucario can react.
Referee – .... The Challenger wins the round. The Challenger Sky won against the Gym leader Maylene in the official Gym battle. The Gym battle had been recorded by the League so you can claim your Gym badge later. For now, You should go to finish your urgent task.
The referee said to Sky. Sky looked at the badge that the referee pinned on his shirt pocket and nodded.
He immediately dashed towards the door.
M– Don't act as if you are strong just because you defeated my personal Pokemon. If you have fought against the actual team of my father-
Referee – Then he still would have won, that Darkrai alone can defeat your father's whole team.
The referee came to her and informed.

Sky was running towards the outskirts of Veilstone City. He had already recalled Riolu, Treecko, Gabite and Absol while Froslass, Mimikyu and Raven were following him from the shadows.
He immediately checked the emergency message. It was from Professor Rowan.

He immediately called Professor Rowan.
" Hello Professor, what happened?" Sky asked in a calm voice.
"Abdbfnmadcsnzzz*zzzzzz can you hear me properly now?" Professor Rowan said after Professor kukui did something to the calling device.
"Yeah I can." Sky replied.
"Well remember about the Pokemons that you told us about, I did a little research on that with the other Professors and got information as well, I have already sent them to you. So this is something else... Dj ran ems.. dje sm... Can you hear me now?"
Professor Rowan said in a hurry.
"I can. What is happening behind you!?"
"Well that is the problem, after the Legendaries that you informed me about, I got in a serious search for them with the other Professors and we got a little too excited. During the research, we got the information of the sightings of a red Rayquaza in the Galar Region, so in our excitement, we, Professor Oak, Elm, Juniper (old man), Birch, Kukui and I decided to come and research it. He continued, "In its Eternamax form, Eternatus body resembles a long winding snake with a hand-like feature at its face consisting of five long clawing spikes of the same appearance that its original form is coated with. A large amount of Eternamax Eternatus' body is far above the ground shrouded by dark clouds which, 20,000 years prior to the events of Pokémon Sword and Shield, covered the Galar region entirely, causing its attack which is named the Darkest Day nowadays. These clouds are similar to the ring of clouds that appear at the apex point of a Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon."
Sky looked at one of the most horrifying Pokemons.
"That is definitely an Eternatus. Stop is from gathering anymore energy, the the more energy that Eternatus is able to generate and gather, the stronger it becomes. Stop it from gathering energy." Sky repeated his last words twice.
"Professor Oak, stop it. You as well Leon. Attack that Eternatus with all your might." Professor Rowan said to Professor Oak and Leon.
"Will you be fine though, Eternatus grows stronger, the more he accumulates, shouldn't you ask for the help of the league?" Sky asked in doubt.
"Don't worry, we have already got the league backup and three more champions are going to come any second. And Profesor Oak was also a past champion and out Guide Leon and his teacher are also Champion level trainers." Professor Rowan gloated.
" Why did you call me then?" Sky asked with slight irritation mixed in his tone.
"I needed information about the new Legendary as we were going to research it but we didn't know if it could be dangerous or Not." Professor Rowan said to Sky.
"Do you know that even K didn't have the information about most of the things a few days ago. You are really lucky that I have the information or you might have caused a calamity."
"Don't worry about it. This isn't the first time that we have faced a world level calamity die to a Pokemon. It happens once or twice every month as new ruins, new civilizations and information is being revealed to the world everyday. Most of the ancient civilizations wanted to acquire the power of the Pokemons or to control it, unlike the present time where most of the world wanted to coexist with peace. Okay, bye looks like the Other Champions have come as well. I will talk to you later about this topic." Professor Rowan cut the call while saying that.
"False Alarm." Sky mumbled.
"It isn't. Someone has been waiting for you and he has strong Pokemons. " Raven informed Sky. Froslass and Mimikyu also got battle ready.
