Scene 6: Bored Arcade...

I was sooo bored. The intel had run dry and I was hitting so many dead Edna on finding there exact location. I just needed something to take my mind off this failure for a moment. After some thought, I decided to Tech Jump for a bit. Who knows, I might even get a fresh new idea on how to find those guys.

It wa also a ton of fun jump scaring the others by randomly popping up on their devices!

Without much thought, Arcade knew exactly who his first victim would be!

~BEEP BEEP BEEP~

"Seriously...what's a gamer gotta do to get some sleep around here?"

"Wakes Wakey Zuka...now just take a little peak at your watch and..."

~SNORING~

"Humph...The all powerful Box Fort Oracle will not be ignored dude!"

~BEEP BEEP BEEP~

"Okay Okay!"

~THUD~

I can't believe I just fell out of bed righ on my face..."What the fudge is making that beeping sound anyway?"

Popping up on Zuka's watch, Arcade yelled, "ME!!"

"AHHHHH!!!"

"Your finally up Zuka my boy! Now tell me, how did you like your comteplimary wake up jump scare on this beautiful morning? I also do birthdays and funerals."

"Dude one, you got me good! Two, why and how on earth are you in my watch?"

I started to get up and fiddle with my watch as I waited for his answer. Instead he zapped off and showed up on my tv!

"Remember I told you I was an A.I. Dude. So I pretty much live in the digital world, and no before you saw it I'm not a Digimon."

Oh yea,Arcade did mention that when we met huh.

"Yea but your still like an actual person too right?"

"Well yes and no. A person did create me and yea they are still alive and yes I'mmolded after them. Yet I'm totally on my own these days."

"Yea totally on your own to reek havoc and make my life a living jump scare nightmare!"

~EVIL LAUGHTER~

"Oh my dear Zuka...this is only the beginning!"

With that I left Zuk's room. The look of horror on his face was priceless.

"Now than...who shall my next victim be?"I zapped around the rest of the rooms upstairs till I got to Saf's place. She was doing some morning meditation and I almost decided not to bother her...almost."

I heard a scream come from Zuka's room and had a hunch Arcade might be behind it. When ever he hits a block or gets bored he Tech Jumps around scaring people. It was only a matter of time before Zuka became another victim.

"I know your there Arcade, and don't even think about it."

"Awe...your no fun sometimes Saf."

Well that was a bust but all hope was not lost! There was another newbie in the house now which meant another potential victim!

After another round of Tech Jumping from room to room, I finally made t to Retro's workshop. Now to get to work and scare the fur off him! Huh...I started zapping from one device to another and another and another...

~GAHHH!~

I forgot just how many tech things Retro had in here!

~ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP~

"Finally...oh wait a second...you know all these screens and tech around are giving me a crazy scary idea..."

~HUMMING~

"Huh? I s someone there?"

I heard what sounded like static but when I looked up from my desk, no one was there and my screens were still off. "Come on Rhett your just tired from staying up all night working again."

~STATIC~

~TVS FLICKERING~

"Ahhh...ok...I know I saw that flash on and off...right?"

I decided to get up and go check them out. After all if they were turning on and off on their own, I had way more repair work to do then I thought.

"I've got him right where I want him!" The time was almost here! All I needed to do now was amp up the Spoopage a bit more!

~TV FLASHING~

~FANS BLOWING~

~LIGHTS FLASHING~

~ROAR~

"Ahhhh!!!!" I ran out of that room like y tail was on fire!

"Retro what's going on are you ok?"

I don't think I have ever heard such a bloodcurdling scream in my whole life!

I heard Rhett scream like he was being attacked. Did they find us first?

"Saf what's happening out here?"

Everyone came down to see what hadRetro screaming. They were all introduced to Arcade on the big tv laughing up a storm. They also found Retro on the floor crying and gasping for air.

"Dude I think you took this a tad to far."

I got to the Big Room last and as much as I loved a good scare prank, I truly thought Arcade went to far with Retro.

"Arcade..."

I know it was just a harmless scare but Retro really looked upset.

"Retro are you gonna be ok?"

~GASPING~

"Yea...I just...it was a lot."

Wow Arcade really made it feel like I was having the worst nightmare ever.

"It's ok you guys, Arcade was just playing, right?"

"Well of course man. I'm sorry Retro, I guess I did go tad overboard with the atmosphere."

~GROWLING~

Crypt yelled in a deep growl.

"Ya think!" It took all my strength to not go to the attic and destroy every monitor that bug could show up on!
