Lyle Wilson is a 17 year old student at West High. With his God like looks coupled with that brilliant brain of his, he is considered as the hunk of West High. As a typical hunk, he is the best at everything he does, with girls flocking around him, waiting to be noticed. But the one who really captures his eyes are those eyes behind that gold rimmed glasses, that girl behind those oversized clothes.

Ivy Gracia is a 17 year old student at West High. She is the type who would put her everything into studying but unlike what's expected, she isn't the topper of her class. Infact, she ranks just above average no matter how hard she tries. But, she isn't the hated nerd. She is liked for her simplicity, just like she wanted. 
She doesn't talk back. She doesn't fight. She doesn't drink or use substance. All her works are submitted on time. She doesn't bunk and has her attendance as a hundred percent. And she doesn't even use dirty slangs. She is that really simple girl. She is as her classmates quote, 'the simple girl from the book.' She is just too simple to be true.



But that isn't the case for everyone. While Ivy tries her best to hide the wildness behind that pair of glasses and oversized clothes, Lyle just seems to see through her.

Why doesn't he let her end her highschool like she wants to? He didn't notice last year when she came, so what exactly went wrong this time?

Now who can tell her that Lyle had actually seen the 'real' her behind that seemingly 'simple' her?

Don't beleive the appearance

''Is Sasha scared? Or is her brother scared to come?'' The minion from before asked with an ingratiating smile while Kristine looked smug looking at her brother and his friends.


The boy right beside Kristine was her brother, Kristen, who was supposedly the boss of the area. He was tall with very well built, his body beefy enough to make his black leather jacket seem too tight for him. His skin was not too fair but wasn't dark either. The other three were his friends, who also had the same built as him but with varying shades of skin.


''Well hel...lo.'' A taunting voice sounded followed by Sasha and a girl who was still in a hoodie and half pants. Her hands were stuffed in the kangaroo pocket of her hoodie. The aura around her was lazy yet strangely frightening.


''Let's get it done with quickly. I have a match to complete.'' The lazy aura dissipated at the end of her sentence and was replaced with strong cold one which made those who were facing it feel cold sweat drip down their back. ''Who is the one who dared to mistreat Sasha? Stop wasting time and come forward.''


Though Kristine felt her legs go numb, she gathered her courage thinking about her brother and his friends beside her.


''Heh... So you are the one this bitch brought as her backup? I thought she would atleast bring her brother but sister? You should also be a slut like her.''


''So you were the one who did that to her.'' Ivy said as she stepped forward step by step making Kristine and her two minions step back with every step she took in fear.


''You... You... Don't come forward. Stay back. Brother...''


As if finally realizing the situation, Kristen stepped forward and pushed his sister behind him.


''Oh... I didn't expect to see a beauty over here. Say why don't you go out with me? I will let you off without a scratch.''


''Heh... what's a sissy doing over here? Trying to act big infront of a few girls? Too bad you met ME.'' 


Ivy immediately picked up speed as she jumped and landed a punch squarely on Kristen's face.


''Little sister. Make sure you don't dream while discussing such matters. Or the other person might not let you off as easily as me. Now get lost. I'm in a rush.''


Ivy made her way towards Kristine when Kristen's friends started throwing punches and kicks towards her.


''Heh... With such skills, you dare to say you are the boss of the area? Idiots.''


Dodging every attack thrown towards her, Ivy made sure to repay what they threw towards her, except theirs didn't land on her but hers never missed them. 


While Ivy and the boys were fighting, Kristine picked up the rod her brother and his friends brought and swinged it at Ivy.


''Ivy...'' Sasha dashed towards Ivy to save her from the attack when someone whizzed past her and caught Kristine's hand stopping her mid attack.
