61. Robbing the Cradle

''Chummy Gummy, I'm off to school.'' Ivy said after putting on her shoes as she looked at the two barking pups and sent a flying kiss before closing the door.

She was still wearing those over sized clothes and that large glasses. Her face still had freckles and her hair was still not very well made. She still carried a lot of books both in her bag as well as in her hands.

Just when she got out of her building, she saw Lyle leaning his back on the tree infront. He was still dressed well. With a black hoodie and navy blue jeans paired with a black shoes, he looked just like he always do, mouth watering.

''Eh? What are you doing here? The school isn't in this direction, it's in that.'' Ivy said as she pointed towards the other direction, from where he came.

''Well, I just accepted that your are my girlfriend yesterday so ofcouse I have to fulfill the most basic rule. So here I am, your boyfriend, to pick you up, my girlfriend.''

Hearing his words, Ivy couldn't help the blush that crept up her face.

''You... what are you saying. Don't spout nonsense out here. What if someone heard you. I can't bear the crime of tainting a person like you.''

''A person like me? What's wrong with me?'' Lyle really felt wronged. This isn't the first time she chose to forget him because of this sentence. Even before, she said she would have tried something but because it's him, she can't. She just chose to brush it off. That's really... really... Urg... whatever. He has to get a proper response today.

''Nothing.''

''Don't brush it off just like that. I need to know the reason. What exactly is wrong with me. You can't just-"

''*sigh* There really is nothing wrong with you. That's why I don't want to taint you. You know most of things about me by now so you can see the difference as well. You are too innocent in this field of relationship. Where as, though not a pro but I'm experienced with several experiences. So with you, the difference is as big as the great wall. It feels like I'm robbing the cradle.''

What the... Does she see me as a two year old or what? Robbing the cradle? Is she serious? Did she not get any other phrase to compare with? Damn it.
