Aroon stood with Catrine and others at the mall, surrounded with curious gazes from everyone.
Yet no one ever dared to take the initiative to ask any of them about what was going on.
"Shouldn't we speak with them?" Arora stepped closer to the two mecha owners while whispering in a low voice that the two could only hear.
"No," Aroon's answer was decisive, "we can't force anyone to escape and survive."
"But they are all going to die if we don't start evacuating them now!" Cheryl stepped forwards to stand beside her friend and support her.
And that made Aroon simply sigh.
He knew that for sure, and yet he tried all his best to save as many as he could. In the end he ended up clashing with the fallens here and lost any hope of saving anyone.
"We... will wait," Catrine slowly said while stealing glances towards Aroon. She didn't know what he was thinking about at the moment. "I hope things get changed when they see the monsters."
