Chapter 25

Danica's P.O.V.

I walked back and forth remembering what had happened to Baby Van. Hannah told me everything about how Vanessa left and I was even more nervous that they hadn't come home until now.

I looked at the wall clock again and it was past 8 pm. I couldn't really hold back anymore and I immediately went to my room and got a jacket in the closet. When I went downstairs, I was about to leave when my cellphone suddenly vibrated. I quickly picked it up and saw an unfamiliar number flash on my cellphone. I immediately pressed the green button.

"Hello?"

["It's been a long time to hear your voice Danica"] I was surprised when I heard that voice ........ the voice of that mask. The mask I've been looking for for a long time is the person behind that mask.

"What do you need?"

["I know Vanessa hasn't been home there yet."]

"What did you do to my daughter? Where is she! Damn you!" I just heard his sudden laugh.

["Do you know that I don't like people who don't call my name? Well, you don't even know my name. Hahaha you can call me Zero."]

'Z-zero?'

"What did you do to my daughter zero?"

["The speed with which you learned to be respectful."] He said as he laughed on the other line.

"Don't go around, where is my daughter?"

["She's here in Laguna. The old place you and your daughter Danica used to play."] With every word he utters my hair stands on end.

"I'll take him there."

["It's up to you, as long as you're prepared."]
