CHAPTER 02

ACT 06

She ran to her best friend's house which was near the farm. His house was the biggest in the small Village. He lived with his parents and Grandfather who was the High Chief of the Village. The Village High Chief was a peaceful Yellow Man who lent help to those in need.

Since the war Blues and Reds whose Villages were destroyed sought refuge in nearby welcoming Yellow kingdoms as long as they followed the rules and customs.

She knocked twice on the door. A 7 years old Yellow boy opened the door. He had short yellow hair and was a bit taller than Reolita.

Reolita - Good morning Joey. Let's play.

Joey - OK. Let us go to the hill side this time.

Reolita - But that's very far from the Village. We won't even get there in time. We are not supposed to go out of the Village remember?

Joey looked around and opened his hand and showed her a White bracelet.

Reolita - Where did you get that? White bracelets are very expensive.

Joey - Shhh. It's from my Mama. Let's quickly go.

Reolita - This will be so much fun.

Joey - Mama I want to go and play with Reolita.

Joey's Mother came out. Her name was Partla. She was a very thin beautiful woman but she lost one of her eye and there was a long scar there instead. Reolita greeted his Mother.

Partla - Good morning my dear. Joey, you can go as long as you stay within the walls. OK?

Joey and Reolita - Yes.

Partla - Get back on time to help your Father with the horses.

Joey - OK.

They ran off happily as his Mother watched them. She looked up to the sky enjoying the fresh morning breeze.

ACT 07

On their way they saw a group of Yellow Villagers discussing near the High Chief's compound.

Villager 1 - Have you heard? The war between the Blue and Red men reached the Village of Nakan yesterday. The whole Village was destroyed and Yellows were killed.

Villager 2 - And what is most disturbing is that the Village is just 6 days away by donkey. Why can't they leave the Yellows out of this war. We have to be more careful or we could be next.

Villager 1 - That is why we called this meeting so we can discuss on what should be done.

Villager 3 - Elders we have to be quick about this decision.

High Chief Manok - Well as we all know the wall is already half way finished as the Yellow Empire kingdom ordered to every Yellow Villages. So I don't know what more we can do except keep building up the wall fast and hope it gets finished as soon as possible. Suggestions are very much appreciated.

Villager 1 - Why don't we set up the youths. Some can help in building up the wall and others can act as vigilante. We could also equip them with magic White beads.

High Chief Manok - But those beads take up energy from the user. So it has to be a last resort.

Villager 1 - Of course.

High Chief Manok - Anymore suggestions?

The other Villagers murmured among themselves but no one said anything else.

High Chief Manok - Very well. Spread the news and alert the Village for volunteers. All youths are mandatory to assist.

Villager 6 - Of course Chief.

Reolita - Wasn't that your Grandfather?

Joey - Yeah.

Reolita - What are they talking about?

Joey - Boring grown up stuff. Let's go.

Reolita - OK.

ACT 08

They both ran off, chasing after each other. They managed to sneak past the wall vigilante. They soon reached the cliff top near their secret hiding place. They looked near the horizon. The view was beautiful. They saw wild deer grazing.

Reolita - Wow! You can see the whole valley from up here. Its so pretty.

Joey - I know right it's amazing. My Papa said when I turned 15 he will take me out to see the big Yellow Empire and teach me how to hunt.

Reolita - Wow! You're really lucky.

Joey - Yeah. But playing with you is so much more fun.

Reolita blushes at the compliment.

Reolita - I wish we could do this all the time but we have so many chores.

Joey - My Mama said if you have fun too much it wouldn't be fun anymore. It would be boring.

Reolita - Your Mama's always right.

She spotted an animal from afar.

Reolita - Wow. Look at that pretty peacock over there. Its Feathers are pure White. And its Dark eyes are so cute.

Joey - It sure is pretty. (But not as pretty as you)

Joey suddenly remembered he had made something for her.

Joey - Here I bought this for you. I hope you like it. Its a new flower Beads bracelet to add to your collections.

Reolita - Thank you so much I love it.

Reolita gave him a peck on his cheek. Joey blushed bright Yellow. She wore the bracelet.

Joey - And I have a bracelet of my own.

Reolita - Are you sure? It drains energy when used oh.

Joey - Don't worry I'm a hunter's son.

Reolita - Just be careful.

Joey wore the bracelet and felt as if electricity went through him. He felt the power. He jumped up and began to float in the sky.

Reolita - Oh wow. It makes you fly!

Joey floated up and down in the sky. He held Reolita and flew up with her.

Reolita - No! Please put me down. I'm afraid of heights.

He put her back down. He removed his bracelet and immediately felt tired. He stopped to rest for a few minutes.

Reolita - Come on. Let's go play hide and seek.

Joey - Sure. Tag your it!

He poked her and ran away.

Reolita - Hey not fair! We're playing hide and seek not tag! (Catcher catcher.)

Joey - Catch me if you can.

They ran into the forest all happy and having fun.

Two hours later...

Soon they we're exhausted from all the playing.

Joey - We better get home now so our parents won't be worried.

Reolita - That's true. Let's go.

But as they were about to leave, they saw smoke in the distance.

Reolita - What is that? Do you see it? It's smoke!

Joey - Let's go check it out.

Reolita - I don't think we should.

Joey - Don't worry you'll be fine. I'll protect you. I'm a hunter's son remember? Besides its probably dust from some stupid wild rams fighting over mangoes again.

Reolita was having a very bad feeling about this.

Reolita - OK. But be fast!

They climbed the nearby tree to check what the commotion was all about and were surprised to see a lot of men and women on horses charging towards their Village. They had a lot of weapons and cages. They were Warriors. Blue Warriors!

Joey - I think we better get back to our parents.

He jumped down from the tree and grabbed Reolita's hand. They both ran to the Village as fast as they could, forgetting the White bracelet in the grass. A Dark figure comes out and carries the white bracelet and sinks back in the Darkness.

ACT 09

As soon as they reached the Village, her friend ran to his house and she ran to hers. She saw the Invading Warriors attacking people and people running for their lives. Meanwhile Alicia and Ricktin were at home looking for Reolita.

Alicia - Where is Reolita?

Alicia was worried. She hadn't seen her since she left the farm. Reolita burst through the door.

Reolita - Mama, Papa what is going on? Who are those people?

Ricktin - There you are. Our Village is being attacked. We need to evacuate the children and elderly.

Reolita - But why would they do this? We didn't do anything.

This was the first time she had experienced a war and she didn't like it one bit.

Alicia - The world isn't a nice place. There are bad people out there who just like chaos and destruction and its our duty to fight for what we believe in. This is life, but don't worry, we'll protect you. Quick Ricktin take her and our son and leave to the Shelters and help the others evacuate. I have to go and help the other Warriors and stop all this Madness. Please be safe.

She kissed everyone and ran out the door. Before Reolita could even say anything to her Mother she had already gone.

She alongside other members of the Village had started to attack the intruders and save who they could. The Chief was giving orders to those defending the Village. Others were evacuating people to the safety shelters. The enemies were killing and kidnapping people. She used her bow, burning arrows and her strong sense of accuracy to shoot down the Warriors.

Reolita - Papa! What's going to happen to Mama! Why are we leaving her behind?

Ricktin - Don't worry my dear she's doing her job. She will join us very soon.

Reolita - Are you sure?

Ricktin - Look I promised your Mama I will protect you and your Brother. Let's go quickly. She'll be fine.

Even he himself was trying to believe what he had just said. But he had to protect his children. He had earlier tried to persuade her otherwise but her Warrior spirit didn't allow that.

He continued to pack the bags and loading them onto his donkey.

Reolita - But we can't just leave Mama behind.

Ricktin - We have no choice. Let's go. She will meet with us soon.

He had finished packing all their things and loaded them onto the donkey. He was about to grab her hand when...

Ricktin - Reolita! Get back here!

She ran out of the house and to the Village square. She kept looking around and calling out to her Mama.

Reolita - Mama! Let's go! Where are you? Mama!

What she didn't know was that one of the Blue Warrior men who captured some Reds had caught sight of her. She continued to search the Village until she saw her Mother fighting a Blue female Warrior.

Reolita - Mama we have to go. Please.

Alicia - Reolita! What are you doing here?! Go back to your Father right now!

She became frightened. She had never seen her Mama so serious before. She tried to run back but a Blue man grabbed her hand.

Reolita - Ahhh! Leave me alone! Mama! Mama help me!

She continued to scream and tried to remove her hand from his grasp. Her Mother saw what was happening and shot 2 poisoned arrows at the man's neck. He fell dead instantly. She carried her daughter and ran to the nearest edge of the Village beside one of the shelters. She put her down near the bushes.

Alicia - Now be a good girl and stay here till i come back. OK?

Reolita shook with fear and had tears in her eyes. She sniffled.

Reolita - OK... Mama I'm scared.

Alicia tried to calm her down.

Alicia - Don't worry my dear. I'm here. Everything will be...

Suddenly a Blue man stabbed her back with a dagger.

Alicia - Arrghhh!

She fell to the floor unconscious.

Reolita - Mama!

Warrior man - Ha ha ha... Come here little girly.

Reolita - No! Mama! Wake up please!

The man grabbed her hand painfully.

Reolita - No! No! Leave me alone! Mama!

Whack!

Someone hit the man on the head with a big, fat stick. It was Ricktin and he was backing her baby Brother.

Reolita - Papa. Mama isn't moving. Help Mama.

Her father shook his wife but she didn't respond. His shut his eyes as he felt sadness and anger.

Ricktin - Come on.

He stood up and grabbed her hand and pulled her away.

Reolita - What about Mama?

Ricktin - She is gone and she isn't coming back. Let's go. She's dead! Now move.

She couldn't believe what she just heard. Her mother was dead? No...

He put her on the donkey and rode out of the Village and into the Shelter areas.

From afar...

A Dark figure watched the whole commotion... And slipped away unnoticed.

ACT 10

Meanwhile at the Royal Blue Empire Palace...

The Blue lords and other kings of Blue nations were discussing about the ongoing war among the Red and Blue nations In the Empire throne room. Clans, kingdoms and villages all fall under an Empire. At the elevated throne sat the Grand Queen Zanlynne of the Blue Empire, who is one of the most respected Queen to ever rule. She was feared for her heightened intelligence. She had led wars in her youth and hardly lost any one. And at the moment the atmosphere was tense and the members were in terrible moods.

King 1 - Those Red bastards destroyed the clans of the Navyyn yesterday. No Blue was left alive.

King 2 - They think they are so smart. We need more backup plans. Our men are reducing drastically. Especially since that new Red general started leading the Red Empire army.

Lord 1 - I say we use mount Leotin to our advantage. We can hide behind those mountains before the Reds reach the Terchef's kingdom. And give a surprise attack with the spear warriors.

Lord 2 - The idea would be perfect if only the Yellows aided us with the war. With their knowledge of archery it would be perfect.

Lord 3 - But let's not underestimate the swordsmanship of the reds. They can be brutal at battle. They could also be planning a strategy too.

King 4 - Besides they too are trying to get alliance with the Yellows. And we need to call into order those rouge Blues attacking Yellow Villages. If we want to form an alliance with the Yellow People we shouldn't be attacking them.

Lord 1 - But the Yellows may have their own plans against us. I don't think we can trust them completely.

King 3 - That maybe true but they aren't a threat at least for now.

In a corner of the room the 10 years old Blue identical twin Princes peeped through the Curtain walls of the throne room. They were worried. They haven't seen their parents for 2 months and their Grandmother was always in the Throne room. They were trying to listen to what the grown ups were saying.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - As you all know my son and his wife have gone to the east to aid the Inkon clan fight off the Jokon Red Warriors. Our sources told us that Village was very small and had only fifty Warriors. And we are yet to receive news from them.

Lord 2 - Ah yes. By the goddess' name we shall claim victory.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Indeed we shall. Which leads us to discuss on how to develop new strategies and report to the Empire army as soon as possible.

The two blue Princes who overheard the conversation became even more worried. They wanted their parents badly. They weren't around for their Royal birthday which was last week. Soon they heard their nanny calling out to them.

Royal Nanny - Prince Kydin, Prince Tefon. Please it's time for your hunting Lessons. There you are.

Prince Kydin - Quick before she catches us.

They both ran into the throne room.

Prince Kydin - Grandmother! Grandmother!

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Kydin! Tefon! What are you both doing here? Your teachers are waiting for your lessons.

Prince Tefon - Sorry Grandmother. But those lessons are boring.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Now as a good responsible Prince You are to take your studies seriously.

The Princes - Yes Grandmother.

She picked them up and placed them on her laps.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Sorry Lords and Ladies let me introduce you to my heirs. Prince Kydin second born and second heir to the Blue Empire throne and Prince Tefon first born and the heir to the Empire throne. Princes meet the Blue Royals of the other Blue villages.

Identical Prince Kydin and Prince Tefon had Navy Blue hair, dark blue eyes, a handsome young face and Dark brown skin. Kydin always had a slight serious frown on his face. Tefon was more cheerful looking.

They both stood up and bowed respectfully.

The Princes - It's an honour your Majesties.

Lady 1 - Wow. Such well trained Princes (I'll have to introduce them to my daughters.)

Grand Queen Zanlynne - I have other important things to attend to. So I leave this affairs to the next 4 market days.

Head of guards - Of course your highness. As you wish.

The Royal nanny came in and knelt apologetically.

Nanny - I'm sorry my Grand Queen. I should have watched them more closely.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - You are forgiven. Rise and prepare the training Grounds.

As the Grand Queen escorted them to the Royal training grounds, she scolds them.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - How many times do I have to tell you not to interrupt elders when they are doing something Important? Do you both wish to be spanked.

Prince Tefon - No Grandmother. We are very sorry

Prince Kydin - Yes very sorry.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - You are both Princes. You are examples to the people. You don't behave like untrained rascals.

The Princes - Yes ma'am.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Kydin! Stop getting your self dirty. A Prince's appearance should be clean and show dignity, power and authority.

Prince Kydin - Yes ma'am.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - What did you both want to talk about. You may speak.

Prince Kydin - We were just worried about Mother and Father.

Prince Tefon - We haven't seen them for weeks.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Oh my children don't worry. Your parents are fulfilling their duties as Royals. Protecting the kingdom from the enemies.

Prince Kydin - You mean the reds?

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Yes. They are a threat that must be eliminated.

Prince Tefon - But why?

Grand Queen Zanlynne - That is the way things are my children. But don't worry your parents shall return to us by the goddess' name.

The Princes - OK Grandmother.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - My little handsome boys.

She kissed each of them on the head.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - Now off to your Lessons.

They bowed respectfully and ran off. She shouted after them.

Grand Queen Zanlynne - I must not hear that any of you failed your lessons.
