Chapter 50

Jane had studied Anthony carefully since the deaths in the cottage. The darkness around him had started to dissipate when his relatives had died. As he lay unconscious, his aura had grown lighter and once it had gone completely, he had woken up. There was no trace of any black although he had projected all the other colours as he went through a tumult of emotions.

Anthony made the call to Tanya and Rob and, as instructed, he did not mention Hannah, his father and grandfather, or demons. Jane listened as he gave his reasons for running away.

"I'm sorry if I have caused you any worry. Everything was piling up on me, if you know what I mean. I just wanted to get away for a couple of days. Do some thinking. Anyway, I'll make my way home tomorrow."

"Well, done. You sounded like an, angst ridden teenager." Jane commented.

"That's because I am an, angst ridden teenager."
