Silverleaf high school

Lixue reached school within half an hour ride. She paid the money to the driver and got off. In front of her was stupendous sight. The building of the school was complete white in color and included shiny glass windows on each floor. There was a marble staircase leading up to the main school building. Around the school were two campuses on either side, one for boys and one for girls. In the middle of it was a huge playground with bleachers. It was probably used for tournaments or school completion and P.E. The racing track was neat and clean without a speck of dust and the grass on the playground was neatly and shortly trimmed. There was a group of boys playing basketball and a few people running on the track. Since it was 12 noon the children had been given a break for lunch. The cafeteria was flooded with children and teachers and the aroma of food was present in every nook and corner. It was hustling with activity.

Lixue passed by the classrooms to go to the principal's office. She opened the door without knocking and swung her bag on the sofa and sat on it. Principal Xie was busy looking at some papers and when he saw who entered he was very happy. "Xue'er here you come. Come to grandpa. Aye you child how big you've grown up. Quick quick pinch me! Tell me I'm not hallucinating."

"Grandpa Xie, Hello. I hope you are fine since the last time we met?" Lixue was respectful towards this old man. She genuinely respected him for being kind and generous towards her grandma. She loved the fact that even after so many years he remembered her and always cared about her and her grandma.

Yes!! Principal Xie and Grandma Lin were friends. They came to know each other during her grandma's old days when she was a teacher. Principal Xie had always wanted her grandma to join his school for teaching but the sad part was that she never wanted to leave her village. "It contained the memories of her with her late husband", she used to say each time he requested her to join. After some time when she still not agreed, he took her promise to send her granddaughter, Lixue to his school.

She was by birth very talented in whatever she started but the problem was that she got impatient easily. After her parent's divorce when she was living with her grandma, she had come first in school many times. But after some incident she stopped coming first and never studied. She always went to the internet café and passed her time there only. This was a very sad thing for principal Xie. He always wanted to see this child happy as he considered her as his own granddaughter. But she would never tell anybody why she stopped studying.

"Is your grandma alright now? Why did you decline me when I wanted to help? Where is she now? Is she getting good treatment?" Principal Xie asked worriedly. "My grandma is fine Grandpa Xie. I have left her in the care of her daughter. And she got admitted in the hospital today only." Lixue's grandma was suffering from a lung disease and the illness worked up anytime so it was necessary to be in the hospital in the doctor's care.

"Okay okay. If you say so then she is fine. Now let's talk about you. Which class do want to join to? I can assure you that every teacher in my school is the best one out there. I was thinking about putting you in the same class as Jiayi, 4.1. What do you say? He can help you out whenever you need help with your studies."

Jiayi was the grandson of Principal Xie. Both of his parents and Principal Xie's son and daughter-in-law had died in a car accident and so he was left in the care of his grandpa. He was the ultimate successor of the Xie family and was naturally a talent in studies.

"I don't have a problem with anything Grandpa Xie. You can put me in any class you want to." "Good good. Come with me let me personally send you there."

"Ah! No need no need. You can call the teacher and I can go with him. I don't want to cause a ruckus by walking with you." Lixue said grinning.

"You..! Fine I won't send you. Humph!! Its your own loss after all." Saying so Principal Xie made a call to the home room teacher of class 4.1, Teacher Lan.

Soon a man in his 30s entered the principal's room and was astound to see a girl sitting on the leather sofa. He greeted the principal and asked about her. "She is a new student, Jin Lixue. I would be handing her over to you from here. She is a bit rebellious and not so good in her studies so kindly teach her. It doesn't matter if you hit or scold her too. If she still doesn't listen you can always look for me." Principal commanded Teacher Lan.

Lixue' mouth twitched silently when she heard her dearest grandpa Xie telling someone to hit or scold her to teach her. 'Grandpa where is your integrity? Is this something an elder would say to the teacher of their grandchild? Well it's also totally fine to say this but kindly not in font of me' she thought.

Seeing and hearing such things, teacher Lan was stunned. He took a while to realize that Principal Xie was talking to himself and quickly nodded. "I'll listen to you Principal."

In the same school in the library, stood a person in a bright pink shirt in front of the counter and helped the children standing in line look for books. When he was done with everyone he turned to look at the person sitting lazily on one of the benches in a secluded corner. Brother Yue did you get a reply from 'SH4D0W'? As far as I am aware he is the best from the whole of Hacker Alliance. Can you give me his contact information/ I always wanted to meet him. He is my Idol Brother. Please.."

"No." A short and curt reply. Shixie was stunned. "What?? How can this be possible. It's already been a day right? He usually only takes one day to do things why has he delayed this time?" Yue tingfeng answered," He said he would need two days. There is someone protecting Linqin.

"What kind of a big-shot could the person protecting her be? Is he much more affluent than SH4D0W?" Shixie wondered.

"I am not sure. I just hope he just finds her." Tingfeng said with a sigh.

"By the way Ge, why are you so hellbent on looking for this Linqin? Is it just because of her zither? I mean there many more zither composers around the world then why only her?"

"She had also sung one song. Only one song throughout her life... Why? Nobody knows. But when she sang that one song, I felt myself falling into a dizzy spiral. It felt like I was standing one step away from her. That was like a drug which I became addicted to. Maybe that's why." He said while shrugging.

Shixie was stunned. "Only one song made you this crazy. Then I can't even imagine what will happen if you really meet her. Will tie her by your side or what?"

Yue Tingfeng curled up his lips. 'Yes! He had such plans!'
