The hospital

"Sophie, congratulations darling" said Queen Rachel with a bright smile on her face. She leaned in and kissed her oldest daughter's forehead.

"Thank you mom"

"Did you name him yet?" asked King William

Sophie smiled and gave a nod.

"William" she said.

Sophie was two years older than Diamond and had gotten married two years earlier. Her husband, Bryne, wasn't royalty. He owned a hospital and they lived a few cities away from the palace.

Darchenland Palace

Hearing a knock on the door, she sat up

"What is it?"

"Your majesty, the prince of Bartenia Palace just arrived. He said he has come to see you" said the guard.

"What? why?"

"I'm sorry, I did not ask that"

"Well, let him come up here, I'm too tired to go down there"

"Yes your majesty, I shall inform him"

About 5 minutes later, her door opened.

"What the..."

She stopped when she looked and saw Damian standing in front of her.

"Damian. You didn't knock"

"I didn't? Forgive my manners"

"Its fine. So, why'd you visit?"

"I was sent here to take care of you"

"Huh?"

"I was told you weren't feeling too well but, you look alright"

"Its just a cold, I feel fine. Why would my parents ask you to come over? I'm not a child and its not like I live alone"

"Its alright, I get to not do any official duties today, thanks to you"

"I'm sorry, please have a seat" she said.

He raised an eyebrow,

"What?" she asked

"Do you usually receive guests in here?"

"You're the first guest I've had since I returned and you're not a stranger"

"I guess so" he said as he sat down.

"Are you really okay now?" he asked, she nodded.

"What would you like to eat?"

"That's fine, I had breakfast before I came"

She nodded.

She stared at him for a while, he seemed restless.

"What's wrong?" she asked, he smiled then shook his head.

"Come on, spill it. Its been a while but we're still friends, aren't we?"

He was silent.

"Is this about Jane? I might be able to help you"

"You've never been in a relationship, how would you help me with a relationship problem?"

"So that's how its gonna be?"

He laughed.

"You two have dated for quite a while, do you not intend to marry her?"

"I should, shouldn't I?"

"You sound very... Well, what do I care, I have no interest in marriage"

"You don't wanna get married?"

She nodded, his jaw dropped.

"A commitment made to last till eternity? That's damn scary"

"Wanna drink?"
