Chapter one

A letter from the king of Suerla has arrived at both kingdoms stating to talk over a meeting. Both kingdoms only saw it fair to see if the issue could dissolve with a meeting between all three kingdoms.

The vampire queen told her maids and knights to move slowly as she didn't want to wast her time moving fast. And the werewolf king also decided on taking the route of getting there with a slow pace.

Guards were posted at the open gate and the princess walked right through them. Of course the figure next to her helped out when she went passed the gate.

"So, strange....say is it so beautiful when there's only flowers?" The woman figure smiled and asked the princess to gather some. "They smell so nice." She dug her face into them inhaling their sent.

"Now, Milena focus with your mind and carefully watch the flowers." A little confused at what she said, but she did it anyway not expecting anything. The flowers had a light glow around them making them more enchanting to look at. "W-what happened?" Her eyes looked at the other flowers around her but to her dismay they weren't glowing. "You bring life. What you simply did was give it a shine which can be sold for high prices." She handed them to the figure happy that she could get money that would be her own.

As they walked further down the path they came to a farm of wheat. And the figure said something very rash that the princess needed to calm down for ten minutes. "Fine, but your collecting it." The princess cross her arms and watched as the figure took several pieces of wheat. "Why do we have to steal? Couldn't we fine something else?" The figure annoying glanced at her and simply said, "It's the easiest thing to get for food. Now you can collect more flowers as I get our meal ready." She shooed her away and magically started making the food.

She didn't realize that she walked so far in the flowery field till she looked back. Sighing she plopped down and gently stuffed flowers into the cloak's inside pockets. When the pockets were full she stood up and looked at the orange horizon.

Bread laid in the figure's hand and when the princess came back she handed her two pieces of bread. "Want jelly?" The figure asked and the princess laid her hand out. "So, you want jelly to cover you're hand or the bread?" She pulled her hand away and put the bread on her hand and then laid it back out. Jelly come down as a liquid and more solid when it landed on the bread. "Blueberry." It looked appetizing but it wasn't what she was use to. She trusted her so she took a bite and quickly finished it.

"How did you make this?" The princess asked curiously, remembering that she only had wheat. "Remember the flowers. I used their essence, the essence you gave them." The figure felt proud as the princess had a look of shock and slowly gave the flowers she had in her pocket essence.

The princess was like a child sleeping in her mother's arms. Arms that gave her dreams full of flowers. That she was her real mother running in a field of flowers.

As the sun rose so did the princess in the arms of the figure. She had been walking through the night to save them time. "How do you not get tired?" The princess said with a yawn and wrapped her arms around the figure's neck. Since the princess was being carried she snuggled up and enjoyed not walking.

A merchant talked about his goods and the princess's protecter brought some food and supplies with the enchanted flowers. "Milli, it's time to walk." Milli grunted and clutched tighter onto her. "Fine." Milli mumbled and was set on her feet. "Like an apple?" Milli took it right away and thanked her after she ate it and asked for another one.

"How do vampires and werewolves look like? Is it like in the books? True about what they eat?" The figure laughed and said that she soon would know.

Ripples were made by the rocks that skipped upon the surface of the pond. Frogs darted underwater scared by the rocks, yet they came to the surface watching the enchanting glow of the girl wearing a cloak. Birds, fish, and other small mammals flocked to her warmness. They were watching their future Queen. So young and naive now, her beauty will mature along with her mind. Her aura made the creatures safe and wished her farewell as well as prayed for her safety.

When she touched the pond she unknowingly cleared it and it became enchanting. It now was very clear and could clearly see one's reflection in it.
