Director speech

"Sooooo..., you said you're a detective, right? Can you enlighten us about one of your cases?" The silver eyes stare into the green ones.

Jaune, Ruby, and Kyrie strolled along the cobblestone path towards the entrance.

Jaune raised his hand. "Uhm, I'd like to hear about it as well."

"Well, if you insist, there was this particular case where a man was discovered dead. The door was locked, with the key inside, and there were absolutely no indications of forced entry." Kyrie retrieved a few photographs, presenting them to the others.

"i was lucky or unlucky of passing nearby, as the daughter of the chief police and my popularity as a school detective they let me watch from the side when I showed my interest" Jaune rise his arm and ask " so you always carry these photos with you?"

"yes i bring them with me every where I go with the help of my semblance"

"Oh, that's cool" Jaune scratch his neck unsure, but doesn't say anything.

"Well, how i was saying, it was midnight when I was passing by Ashcroft Manor."

"I showed my interest to the police at charge in the case, and as they recognize me, they let me watch."

"We went into the parlor room, where a man lay slumped in a high-backed armchair. His name was Lord Edwin Brantley. There was no sign of struggle. In fact, the scene was almost peaceful, save for the faint scent of something bitter in the air"

"The doors were locked from the inside. Windows, all fastened. A single glass lay on the side table, untouched. Yet, Lord Brantley was dead, and not a mark could be seen on his body"

Ruby say with a confused look "could he had died from old age?"

Jaune with a happy expression says "Ha, I know, I once read a novel of mystery. He probably was poisoned, right?"

"Well, yes, he was kill by poison, more exactly, a prolonged exposition of it in the air"

Ruby looked with understanding, "I see, as there were no airflow, the poison killed him"

"Yes, do you know how they manage to put poison in the room, even for the police to struggle with finding the source of it?"

"Well, if even the police struggled with it, I'll say the poison was already there"

"What? How could it be already there?"

"You're not wrong, the poison was indeed already there. lucky guess Ruby. The culprit couldn't be anyone else than the butler, or that was what the police believed"

Jaune tilting his head between Kyrie and Ruby, intervene "so, was like a ninja who entered? Wouldn't that make it impossible to know who did it?"

"You would not be wrong, but fortunately humans aren't perfect. With external intervention, they always leave traces, which means clues"

Taking sit on a bench just outside the entrance she continued "we learn that the boyfriend of his daughter, ask for the hand of his daughter, but, he reject it"

Taking a juice from nowhere she share it with everyone "anyway, the boyfriend was a talented medic, versed with chemistry. Once I heard that I immediately suspected, and, turns out he asked his daughter to give his father a gift, but, saying it was from her"

Returning the glass, Jaune reiterated "so the gift was what contained the poison, I'm a right?"

"Well yes pretty much"

"Aaaaah Kyrie the time, the time!"

"Don't worry Ruby, we are already there" tilting his head to the entrance Kyrie smiled.

"oh I didn't notice we were already here, I was just following you hehe, let's go"

After entering the auditorium they spotted Yang, and they went with her leaving Jaune alone, with a sad puppy face.

While talking, Glynda Goodwitch came to the podium and said to the microphone "ehem, ehem, now we will have a word from the director Ozpin" giving way to Ozpin, Glynda went to the side.

Standing in front of the microphone, Ozping had a disinterested face "You have traveled here today in search of knowledge—to hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step"

Everyone was a little speechless by the suddenness of it, and the mysterious speech, but nonetheless they clap after a little.

(Author Note:I will try to bring some chapters here. I don't promise anything. I have been debating a lot about how to approach what I wanted to do with this story, and I have to say I really did an overpowered character. Don't worry, I won't nerf her, but since I went this far I will bring it further. Since the story is very unbalanced, I will just do a wish fulfillment story, and have fun with it. I have planned to bring other worlds, but I thing I will only finish rwby world, so I can enrich it as much as I can)
