CHAPTER 22: THE PANTHER.

In the town "Little Hope" today a large number of people perform evil ceremonies of witchcraft and spiritism, given the importance that Mr. Harry Miller has, he asks one of the villagers for the possibility of participating in one of those practices.

As a result of the request made to Mr. Christopher Murphy to attend one of the witchcraft practices Mr. Harry Miller manages to get an appointment for one of the ceremonies, which take place at twelve o'clock at night, according to the participants. It is the hour that the evil one takes advantage of to take possession of either animals or people. The activity took place in the old cemetery of "Little Hope".

At twelve o'clock at night, in the midst of a blaze, a Panther suddenly appeared that surprisingly, spoke and demanded that all those present participate in his offerings and in turn all the members were placed in a position of prayer to venerate to their God, whom everyone called the King of the night.

At that time Mr. Harry Miller, did not know whether to believe or not believe what he was seeing, everything seemed true. However, the event was so impressive that he could not assume a balanced posture in the midst of so much stimulation of sounds, worship and veneration towards an excessively large animal, its color was as black as the darkness of night and it could only be seen because it was very close to the flame of fire that is located in the center of the cemetery.

After the ritual was over, Mr. Harry Miller was left with a total shock that he did not know what to say. At that moment, you hear a soft voice that speaks to you slowly and says:

- Everything you have just seen is true and do not bother to continue investigating whether what happened is true or not, what happens is that many people have wasted time investigating aspects that are as true as night and day.

At that moment, Mr. Harry Miller asks him and you who are you, I can't see you:

- I would rather say that you insist on not wanting to see me, am I by your side and you don't see me?

In the midst of his amazement, Mr. Harry Miller looks and next to him is a black cat of a normal size.

And the cat says:

- I'm the one speaking to you.

Mr. Harry Miller asks him.

- How do you manage to talk? Cats don't talk.

The cat responds:

- I'm not a cat; I'm a man like you!

Then the cat continues talking and says:

- Today all believers are celebrating, in the company of the King of the night, the great news.

Immediately Mr. Harry Miller, asks him:

- What's the big news?

The cat responds:

- The great news refers to the fact that the daughter of the King of the night is already in the town of "Little Hope".

Mr. Harry Miller, invaded by a lot of curiosity, asks him:

-- Who is she?

The cat responds:

- Sofia Smith is the daughter of the King of the night.

Filled with amazement, Mr. Harry Miller asks him:

- Where do you know Sofia Smith from Henderson?

The cat gets upset when he hears that Mr. Harry Miller mentions the Henderson last name and that is why he says:

- In our world she is only recognized as Sofia Smith!

Next, the cat approaches Mr. Harry Miller and asks him:

- You still haven't realized who I am?

Mr. Harry Miller, who can no longer handle so many surprises, asks him:

-- Who are you?

The cat responds and says:

- I am Mr. Christopher Murphy, I am the one sent by the King of the night to guide his daughter. That is, I provided the invitation to this ceremony, because we all want you to help us rescue Sofía Smith and deliver her to her father.

Show me that you are Mr. Christopher Murphy, says Mr. Harry Miller:

Immediately in front of Mr. Harry Miller's eyes, the cat became Mr. Christopher Murphy.

At that moment, Mr. Christopher Murphy tells him:

- If you have any questions, you can ask.

Mr. Harry Miller asks him:

- Why did you bother when I mentioned the Henderson last name?

Mr. Christopher Murphy says:

- Because that family made Sofia's meeting with her father more difficult.

Immediately, Mr. Harry Miller asks:

-- And because?

Mr. Christopher Murphy answers:

- When the time comes you will understand, do not rush. Now I must return, before dawn I must have left the cemetery.
