Chapter 2: Drenn Grandlance

Creek~ The door opens

"Young....y-young master! what are you doing there! I-it's dangerous! D-don't panic young master"

A 15-16 years old girl in a maid outfit entered at she pale staring at a 4-years-old child climbing a 3 meters ladder leaning on the bookshelf.

"Shesheshe You're the one panicking Sister Teresa"

I chuckled as I stare at her while my short left hand struggle to reach a thick red book.

"Y-young master I'm gonna get the book for you. Get down there please"

She started staring at me with pleading eyes. As I helplessly climb down.

After I got down the maid climbed and get the book and handed it unto me.

"Here you go, young master. I don't know why you're so fond of reading books, eh? Y-young master, you can read already?"

I extended my hand to receive the book and then hug it. And cutely nod.

'sigh~ acting like a child is damn troublesome'

"Wow! Young master, you're amazing!"

I simply chuckle and sat down to read the book.

'History of Aurora Continent. This is the first time for me to know about the history of the world where I currently live at'

"Hmm.."

Aurora Continent is divided into 4 Major Kingdoms that consist of many small ones. The Alcott Kingdom the biggest of four that it occupying 20% of the Continent 80% of its almost billion population were humans while the rest are different races like demi-human, dwarf, and many humanoid creatures. Elmph, the Kingdom of nature where elves and elemental creatures and spirits live it occupied 15% of the Continent. The Warhammer Kingdom, The Haven of Smiths and Craftsman as what you guess it's the kingdom of dwarves where it occupied 10% of the Continent. The Tripleclaw Kingdom was led by three different but united families, the Lizard clan, the Lion Clan, and the Wolf Clan which also had 10% of the land. Besides the 4 major kingdoms, there is also the domain of evil creatures where danger lurks, Dark Forest is the origin of nightmares. Occupying almost half of the Continent.

After that, the next part was about the past heroes and legends where he has no interest and simply toes the book back to Teresa then the maid put it back on the bookshelf.

"Uhm... Sister Teresa do you know where are the magic books being kept?"

"I don't know but I have a basic magic manual young master"

"Great! can I read it"

"Hmm It's just a manual so it's okay, here"

She tap the ring in her right hand and a thin black book suddenly appeared in front of her and she catch it with both of her hands and gave it to Drenn.

"Thank you, Sister Teresa"

I give my thanks and started reading the manual

'The mysterious system just vanished after it transferred my soul. I thought just like in every transmigration novel, it will help me to dominate this Continent but it left just like that.'

I shook my head and disperse the thought and started reading.

The manual consists of the basics of how magic works and is created by sensing the mana in the surroundings and controlling it by one's consciousness then lead towards the body and absorbed and stored inside one's soul. The stronger the soul the more it can store and release mana. Mana can also be fused with flesh, blood, and bones to strengthen one's body, especially for those who can not store mana inside their soul.

'hmm there's no information about how to make mana into magic, anyway, this is just a basic manual so of course it only consists of basics.'

After pondering for a moment. I close my eyes and start to feel the surrounding mana just like what was said inside the manual. I lead the mana inside my body then suddenly I can feel a whirlpool madly devouring the mana. The wind inside the room turned into a rainbow color and intensely surrounded Drenn while he continuously absorb it making the maid beside him panic, hugging Drenn subconsciously as this is her first time seeing such a phenomenon

"Y-young master what's happening!"

But Drenn didn't respond as he's to focus on what was happening inside his mind

Even though he's almost driven mad by the excitement he didn't want to open it afraid of being seen there's an item appearing in front of him even without wearing a storage ring.

I open my eyes but I see darkness while I feel something soft suffocating me like the fragrance of a teenage girl lingering on my nostrils.

Stretching my hands and pushing forward as I struggle to get away but as light regains in my sight...

I found my hands pressing the two mountain peaks, its softness makes me subconsciously squeeze them twice.

'This..is... bad... ohh! hehe that's right'

I stare at the maid's eyes, using the power of a cute and innocent child, the big and round sparkling sparkle eyes.

"Sister? why? there's where my food comes from you know. Mom even forces me to drink in that."

I tilted my head confusedly even though I'm grinning inside my mind.

The little maid can't refute as she realized that Drenn, her young master is just 2 years old baby.

"Nothing little Drenn, you will know it when you grow up. By the way, why does a rainbow suddenly appear and surrounded you, young master? It frightens me."

Teresa stated while her eyes reminiscing what just happened.

'What? A rainbow appeared. is it the special phenomenon created by the MCs that will leave the old fogeys awestruck?! Well, what can I say? Kuahahaha'

Suddenly a cheerful 3-4 years old girl jumping and shouting with its blonde ponytail hair swaying along with the space, golden brows, and blue eyes filled with the excitement of an innocent child. Having the privilege to be a top beauty when the time of her maturity comes

"Big sister Lily!"

I excitedly run towards the girl and hug her lovingly while leaving the curiosity of the maid hanging without any answer.

It may be weird for a reincarnated man to have this kind of closeness just at the spun of 2 years but I genuinely love my big sister. She's just too adorable.

"Baby Drenn! hehe you're soooo cute just like me, uhm no nearly on par with me"

Respond by the girl as he pinched my cheeks

She tags my hand and pulls me heading out of the door.

I look at my maid and wave at her.
