Don't tell a soul

Yep, I knew something was off. There is no way Brian would ever just go to sleep especially with an advisor and the queen around. Usually nice, Brian, even now with depression and a significant change in his mood, was never a straight asshole to people. And I doubt even more that he would be one to his sister. "What do you mean, what happened?" Mina said, still sad and angry at what Brian said. "I mean, I was asleep, so what happened?"

I grabbed his shoulder, and he turned over. I got to explaining. His face warped into a deep frown at some points. Especially at saying he was a killer. I really wanted no more questions, but that's unavoidable. The queen had a look of interest on her face. "I'm very sorry for my sudden outburst of impoliteness please forgive me." "Your apology is accepted but, was what you said during your outburst true?"

Brian still had the never-ending frown/glare on his face, so currently, his poker face effectiveness was at an all-time high. "No, it was not I don't even know where that came from." That was one of the best lies I have ever heard, simple, easy, effective, and no plot holes. The queen couldn't disprove his lie since it was so simple, either. "So… can I go on the mission?" Brian said hopefully the queen didn't really care and it showed.

"I already told you no!" "He can't go right, my queen?" She said with puppy eyes. "I was going to say yes, you interrupted me, but since your brother is his own person, he can come along if he wishes to." I could've sworn the queen's face turned into a devious smirk for a second. I bet she did that so she could see Mina saddened. "Yes!!!"

Brian pumped his fist. "But you will have to be fully recovered to even hope to stand a chance." She looked over at me. "Both of you." "Damn," I said. I really didn't want to go to my room for weeks. I'd go fucking insane. The queen looked at me with her eyebrows crouched. "Is there something wrong?" "No," I said, faking a smile.

"Good." Well, I guess it shouldn't be too bad. (Lowkey getting mad at myself for making her go through this but the character development must go on!!! Oh yeah and she severely underestimated her guilt, you'll see.) I traveled to my dorm as slowly as possible. 20 minutes later… I was finally at my door I bit my lip then entered the dorm. The guilt and pain I had carried came crashing in my mind…
