An update.

Amelia…

I had another episode of morning sickness. God, how could I forget how dreadful this is?

But the aftermath is worth it. I got a call from my tablet. "Hello?" I spoke into the phone. A deep yet soft voice rang through. "Is this the Selain family?" The person asked.

"Yes, this is Amelia Selain," I responded immediately, wondering who this could be. "Good, your daughter is safe and alive. We are at Ljos city northeast hospital." I dropped the phone with my mouth wide open as I felt warm tears dripping down my face. She's alive?

Yes, she's alive!!! I can't wait! I grabbed my coat and ran through the door to my car, Ljos northeast hospital is quite far from here. Ljos is a huge city.

1 hour later Ljos northeast hospital…

I arrived to the hospital! I entered the hospital running I took about ten seconds to stop at the desk tell the lady my name and for her to tell me her room number. "Thanks!" I yelled running.

I finally found the room I looked around "Where's Sapphire?" Wait I think I see her I thought after checking every face.

Every person there had white streaks in their hair strange. I saw Sapphire with her very dark hair the white streaks showed even more in contrast. I brushed her hair with my hand with a smile I hadn't even noticed on my face.

I heard footsteps. I turned around to see an absolutely gorgeous man that was above in looks to any other person I had ever seen. Bright long blonde hair is so light that it almost looked holy. He had green eyes that screamed life. Skin that was pale to perfection chiseled cheek bones and a lean build so chiseled you could see it though the shirt that he was wearing that said.

"You're the best great-pa!" It was signed by about 40 names. His pretty eyes lit up while he was carrying possibly the prettiest baby I had seen, except for Sapphire. When she was born, those blue eyes stared right into my soul.

"I see you're the mother of that girl." He pointed to Sapphire. "Would you mind tell me your name?" He said, coming closer to sit on the bench. "My name is Amelia. What about you?"

"My name is Ryhem nice to meet you!" He said enthusiastically.

Wait that Ryhem? "Yes, that Ryhem." He said with a dashing smile. A whine came from his arms. The baby had woken. "What's his name?" I asked curiously. He shrugged. "My son has yet to name him." I nodded. Wait, isn't he in his mid-twenties? Why is he already a grandpa?

"Which one is your brother or sister?" I asked, "Oh no, you see the one in the middle? That's my son." He said casually. "Oh," A doctor entered the room. I had been waiting for this. "Hello, I will be the leading doctor taking care of these children." She said.

Wait I had seen her before. "Dr. Haley?" I put a name to a face finally. "Nice to meet you again Ms. Selain, But who knew she would be getting into this much trouble?" I nodded. Them looked between both of us in confusion. "This is pretty far from Main, Ljos which is where I'm assuming you live." I nodded.

"Yeah, we moved a while ago." "Let's get into this report, suffering from extensive torture and improper healing Sapphire's internal injuries were horrible, to say the least. Her body's cells regenerated so often that she is completely drained of energy."

"What about the white streaks in her hair?" I asked diligently. "Those are results from the stress her nerves were under and sadly those are permanent." I bit my lip and signaled for her to keep going.

"The constant healing and physical trauma may have a very negative effect on her mental state such as PTSD depression anxiety and paranoia."

"Can you do anything about the scars on her neck?" I asked about the scars on her neck and wrists. "No, those scars have been there for months. I can't do anything about those."

They've been there for months? They look pretty bad? Who did that to her?

"It will take about two to 3 weeks for her to wake up and another four months for her to recover motor function, then possibly another four months to train her muscles, then her mental trauma may never be fixed, but she needs plenty of support figures to help her through it."

"That's a mouthful," I said. "I know, but it's what it takes." "Are you going to contact their parents?" I said scanning over the rest of the children. "We already have but it'll take around 2 days for all of them to come here."

"And one of them doesn't even have parents." That's depressing, but of course not as depressing as everything else that has been happening.
