Exams 2

Rushing off into the forest as fast as possible, I needed to make distance myself from the rest of the students at my school. I could still see multiple students in my eyesight. I'm not far away enough after hopping on one tree to take a breath and not use up my energy. I looked at the sun and sky roughly thirty minutes have. passed well.

I should be around a mile or two away from anybody else. It would be best to keep on a move on and find food for the next week. With this many contestants, this part of the exam is bound to last for a very long time."Looking around the dark green-lighted forest, I found plenty of shadows.

I never fully understood my power. There's something more to it than just atomization. I don't even think it is atomization. It might be completely absorbing the energy of everything I touch. My theory is that the reason why I have received no energy from when I use my power is that I don't intentionally store it.

I might be like a black hole. It might just be a conscious thing I have to literally will to happen. But since I haven't known it existed, then it hasn't activated. So what if I have different modes and uses for my power Like Leona Brian and Raimy?

I may have been thinking about my power completely wrong this entire time. Maybe I'm not giving out energy that atomizes things and separates their atomic bonds from one another. What if I'm just taking what holds it together and taking it taking all the energy? But to where?

TAK TAK TAK

Somebody's leaping through the trees. I can't get too distracted. I must distance myself. If they find me, they can follow me around until the limit ends, then just surprise ambush me. Looking around the trees to find where the person was, I found out they were coming right towards me.

Taking a sharp right to the closest tree, which was relatively far away, I leaped and landed silently but still shaking the entire tree on impact. That was lazy of me. I can't believe that I got so off0focus that I didn't notice that somebody was closing in. A non-hostile but still could've been a hazard if they knew my general area.

I put the entire even off of my mind and put my focus on finding a bear that I could eat for the next two days without it spoiling. Looking throughout my entire vicinity, I enhance my vision with hushed and my body to hop around the trees more efficiently and being able to see through trees.

Eventually, I stumbled across my prey. A giant shiny gray and black wolf was cornering a mother bear and its two cubs. Hmm, perfect food.

I waited for them to battle it out, get tired, then I would hop in the last second but then I noticed a very faint human presence. A mile away. They most definitely picked up on the sounds nevermind I'm just going to have to kill it now before somebody steals my food.

Jumping down, I decided to test my new theory about my power later. Grabbing my black and red sword, I got into my usual stance. It was a virtue ranked. wolf, this might be a little tough. It turned around.

I crouched down (phantom step) I suddenly closed in on the prey. As my pupils dilated, I shoved my sword into its throat as it pierced only five inches in enough. Blood started to fill the wolf's lungs, kicking it to the side for later.

The wolf was letting out very unhealthy-sounding breaths. Its stomach was. Destroyed it, started whimpering, begging for forgiveness. Heh. Should I give it forgiveness, make it my pet, it would be useful.

But those bears have got to go. They're weak. They were both normally ranked too, with no chance of evolution, just weak. I need to rush. I went for the mother bear, cutting its head off before it could let out a roar.

I let the baby cub go. There was no. point. It was less than thirty pounds and it would probably die later. Kicking the head elsewhere, I picked up the bear and climbed the tall tee I was sitting on. The presence that had been getting closer and closer had left.

I bet the person felt that there was no point in going after the prey as it had already been killed by me. Cutting the bear open, I sat its body up and had the blood drain onto the floor.

Jumping off of the tree and back onto the floor, I sat down with my legs crossed onto the floor. Virtue ranked monsters were relatively intelligent to the point they could slightly understand human language but not speak it.

"Do you want to live?" I asked the wolf. It nodded, of course. "You will be my subordinate until the day I die." It let out a whimper in agreement. Putting my hands on its stomach and its back I healed it.

It stood up on its legs. Standing in front of it, I thought about something. "I have nowhere to put you…" I thought. Hmm. Suddenly, the wolf turned invisible. "I guess that solves that problem, but what should I name you?"

"Hmmm maybe… Halo!" The wolf nodded at the name, looking up. "Alright Halo, stay invisible. Stay near me and don't kill anybody, you see. Halo went invisible, and I continued to chop through the trees.

It had been five hours; I estimated through the sun as it had begun to set. The bear had stopped draining. I used my power to turn a pile of leaves into dust so I could have a dry space to set the fire. I grabbed some dry sticks, then I rubbed them against each other. Smoke was produced, then sparks, then a fire. Taking a chunk of the bear meat, I put it over a fire.

After thirty minutes, it smelled nice but had no seasonings. Taking a bite into the meat, I ate it quickly, then shut off the fire. I can't let myself get noticed. I heard somebody coming from relatively far away. I don't know them.

Turning towards them, I ran towards them quietly and stopped looking around. I saw them hiding behind a tree. Running towards the tree before they switched trees, I grabbed my black sword and cut it down in a quick slash. " Aah!!" Being close to the fallen student with a green uniform on, I put my sword to their neck and slashed. But my sword bounced back to me with all the might I put into it.

"Hehehehe! I can't believe that you thought that would work on me!" The boy sat there laughing like it was the funniest thing on the planet. I hadn't even gone all out. I have no will to

Kill him. I'll use my power instead of just a raw attack with no enhancements. I guess I'll use Hacht now. "I'm sorry I'm sorry just give me a second."

I was dumbfounded. He was asking for a minute when he was in the middle of a fight a minute to collect himself. Nobody in a battle would give him time. (phantom step) I got close to him, leaning down putting my sword into his leg. "That won't wo-" I pierced through his leg easily and he got knocked over.

"You shouldn't have gotten cocky and asked for me to wait I never wait for my prey." I reeled back and punched him in the face hard enough to knock him out. I'm guessing that the amount of people that you take out of the test is extra credit points.

I caused a lot of noise during that. I could hear around three people in my vicinity. One of them directly attacked me and another stood behind a tree, waiting for both of us to tire and then take whoever was standing. It was smart but too commonly used as I had just used this strategy earlier today.

The moonlight shot perfectly through the trees. Making my hair have a shiny reflective property. Bringing a new aspect to my fighting style, I saw what would happen if I operated my power as a black hole.

Just as an experiment. I thought of using my power not to release but to take in. I wanted it to activate at the tip of my sword, but maybe it's too dangerous. And in that moment of hesitation, the person in a red uniform that was rushing directly towards me hit a solid clean punch on my face, sending me flying back and making my jaw turn in ways I didn't even know it could. I'll need to ice it later.

I lost my red sword out of my hand, so I put out my blue and white sword. Getting into my stance while waiting for the Kolet student to rush me, I was calm, but my heart was beating like crazy.

Running at the Kolet student, she put her gauntlets up and punched towards me.

Coating my sword in Hacht as I hit the gauntlet with not all my force. I didn't want to slice her entire arm in half through the middle on accident.

I used just enough force to break her gauntlet, sending her flying back, and put her left arm out of commission. Making her dominant hand useless.

(Just assume every time Sapphire is fighting, her pupils are dilated almost like a lizard, I guess.)

Rushing in with complete focus while she was still flying back, I thrust the hilt of my sword into her stomach.

Then…
