Troy was stuck in his mind, even the pile of books couldn't draw him away. He didn't know what to expect. He found himself feeling foolish and slightly embarrassed by his own thoughts. He knew it was because in his mind, everything he learned the last couple of days was complete crap. Yet here he was, the reality of it all was staring him down. None of this made any sense, and since it didn't make any sense, it floated in his imaginary part of his thoughts. He imagined to himself, things he wished would have happened. He hoped for the impossible. He feared the horror of crazy story plots from a science fiction movie. There was no rest inside his sole.
Troy rested his head on the headrest and started to just breathe. He tried to take himself out of his own mind. His inner conversation was starting to drain him emotionally. It threw his inner piece around. He let his emotions talk to his conscious thoughts. He wanted to remember his lost past even if it was painful. He wanted to remember his life before the accident. He wanted his brother back and if he couldn't have him, he wanted her. He knew that both of them was gone and he was only a survivor. Someone he clearly had a bond with, drifted away leaving him truly alone, with only a shadow remaining. He wanted to feel known in the deepest levels by someone, by her she was his one and he knew it at the deepest levels. His hopes where high and he was impatient. He wanted results instantly he wanted all her memories back now.
Troy calmed his breathing, by breathing in and out slowly. Forcing all of the air from him lounges out, then holding it till his body ached for more. He was in control, he was stronger then his emotions, he was in the drivers seat of his life. As Troy calmed his mind and slowed his heartbeat he let his mind feel at piece. That is when he found her sitting on a rock her hair dancing in the wind. The truest moment his happy place. He had seen this before and knew she never really left him. He was never truly alone.
Troy was disturbed by Cameron voice and his place of tranquility was shattered. Troy looked at Cameron annoyed, his attitude came through in his voice. What??!! He hadn't caught anything he had said. He hadn't really paid attention to his old friend, he was still mad at him. He did only fake his death causing a ripple in his life. Troy changed career paths after that. He felt that he couldn't help people because he failed and he carried the shame with him. Only healing people from the outside. Right now he felt embarrassed that he fell for it, that he was only human. That he let him control him somehow.
Cameron knew all full well that Troy was mad at him. To be honest he wasn't happy when he found out, that he was going to have to come clean with Troy either. This complicated things for him. Cameron had put Troy on a very high standing in his mind. To him he was his very own superhero. No one wants to watch their own superhero fall. Cameron had his very own front seat to the show. He learned a lot from Troy and used it to help other when he could. The truth was he wasn't nearly as good as Troy. Troy was probably going to have to save himself. If they couldn't do it together, Cameron himself was going to have to call it, and clean up the mess.
