Chapter 33

Chapter 33

"Man, after our hero class, the last one is rather boring," said Kaminari as he began packing up his things and prepared to leave.

"Don't say that, U.A is still a school after all." Said Izuku as he also began packing up his things.

"There are many unfortunate souls out there who wished to be educated but could not, so treasure this chance that was given to you, Kaminari-san." Said Ibara.

"Okay, okay, geez," Kaminari sighed. "You guys are just so...so...argh, I don't know how to describe you. Diligent maybe?"

"What's up with your match earlier anyway? You turned dopey for a moment there." Asked Sato, "It's like the side effect of my Quirk, yours is just more idiotic."

"Well," Kaminari scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, he was however, cut off by Izuku.

"Probably his Quirk short circuiting his brain." Said the green haired teen, "Every Quirks has limitations after all, and he probably fry his own brain if he went over his current limit."

"...Right." Kaminari nodded, "And says you! You're Quirk is so awesome and it doesn't look like it has any drawbacks at all! It's like, a flashier version of All Might!"

Bakugo snorted, "Who says he doesn't have any weakness? Unlike us all, the nerd only got his Quirk ten months ago, and he couldn't even properly control it."

Izuku nodded, "My Quirk is too much for my body to handle and it'll break my bones if I went over my limit. When I fought Todoroki earlier, I went over my safety limit and my muscles felt sore."

"Then what about during the I-Island?" Asked Kirishima, "You were keeping up with All Might with no problem at all."

"That was the device that Mel built and given to me," answered Izuku as he waved his right hand, "It allows me to safely fire off a hundred percent punch. My costume also allows me to that. She's a genius I tell ya."

"Tsu is so cool too!" Said Ochako, "I met a Savate practitioner in one of the tournaments I participated in, and he's got nothing on Tsu!"

"Thank you, kero." Tsu blushed a bit.

"Iida was no match at all," said Ojiro, "The way he moves are way too stiff, you're heavily relying on your speed that when Asui dodged, you couldn't react quickly at all."

Iida nodded and readjusts his glasses, "Hmm, hmm, I understand. Thank you for the advice!"

Sero chuckled, "Chill dude, you're way too stiff. You're like a robot."

Iida frowned as he stared at Sero, "Strange. My brother said the same thing, do I really act like a robot?"

Izuku watched his classmates talk with a smile when he felt his phone vibrates, and he took it out. He received a text message from his mom.

'Izu, I kept a private room of our restaurant free, if you want you can invite your friends and classmates. I'll cook for you all.'

Izuku grinned and looked around the room, noticing that everyone is still inside and preparing his things. He stood up and coughed on his fist, gaining the attention of his classmates.

"Well guys, my mom texted me saying that she kept a private room free in our restaurant, if you'll are free, then how about we go there?"

"Seriously!?" Ochako smiled, her eyes sparking in joy, "You really mean it?! Is it free? It's free right!?"

Yuga turned towards Izuku, "If I remember correctly, mademoiselle Midoriya is one of the best chef in Japan, and probably the best one when it comes to Italian food."

Momo nodded, "Indeed, she is sometimes hired by my family to cook if there's any special occasion."

"Isn't your restaurant, like, super expensive?" Asked Camie, "I only ate there once, and that was when I passed the U.A entrance exams, my parents brought me there to celebrate."

"It's fine," Izuku waved his hand, "So, any of you want to go?"

"Are you kidding!? Of course we all wanna go!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Yeah!" Ochako cheered.

"Sign me up!" Sero pumped his fist.

"Hmm, may the Lord bless you and your family for your generosity," said Ibara.

"I would be honored!" Iida bowed.

"Oh yeah!" Mina cheered, "I'll finally get to eat at a fancy restaurant!"

"I'm with you sister!" Toru wrapped an arm around Mina's shoulders.

"I need to call my parents first, kero." Said Tsuyu as she took out her phone and called her parents.

They talked for a few moments as Tsu explained the situation to her parents, who agreed to let her join her classmates. After that, they talked for a few more moments before she ended the call and nodded at her classmates.

"I'll be going too, kero."

After that, pretty much everyone expressed their willingness to go, except for Shouko who silently walked towards the door, carrying her bag.

"Todoroki, you're not coming?" Asked Izuku.

Shouko stared at him, "I'm not here to make friends, you all go and do your useless 'outing', I don't care."

"Come on, it'll be fun." Izuku insisted.

"I don't have time for fun."

"We'll have soba." Izuku smiled. Earlier during lunch time, Izuku saw her devouring massive amount of soba at the corner of the cafeteria. So he thought that it might be her favorite food.

And as expected, Shouko flinched and narrowed her eyes at Izuku and muttered, "Cold."

He blinked. "Huh?"

"I want cold soba." Said Shouko, looking at Izuku with her usual stoic face, but if one were to look closely, they'll notice that her ears turned red.

Which, Izuku noticed but didn't comment on it as he just nodded, "Sure, I'll tell my mom. You can have as much cold soba as you like."

For an instant, Izuku thought that he saw Shouko's lips curved into a smile, but it disappeared so fast he couldn't clearly see it.

"So, when do we leave?" Asked Shouko. 'I'll text nee-san that I'm eating outside with my classmates. It might also make her happy if she thought I'm hanging out with some friends.'

"Alright, I'll call our ride." Momo smiled and took out her phone and called her driver, "....Um, yes Yamamoto-san? Can you asked the others to drive our limo here in school? Three of them at least, yes, just enough to fit at least twenty people."

'Limo? Three?' The others thought, 'She's rich!'

"I'll call Melissa," said Izuku as he took out his phone, but was interrupted by the door suddenly opening.

"No need, I'm here." Melissa smiled as she walked inside the 1-A classroom, "Hey guys! Aunt Inko already texted me."

"Uwaa~" Kaminari stared at Melissa in a daze, "She's an angel, she's even more beautiful in person..."

Stab!

"Argh!" Kaminari screamed as Jiro stabbed him at the side with her earphone jacks.

"Stop being creepy," said Jiro.

Melissa smiled and greeted everyone in the room, "Hello everyone, I'm Melissa Shield, third year, Support Course. If you needed help on your gear, then don't hesitate to come to our workshop, we're always open."

Kaminari look lovestruck, "I think I'll be going there more often."

Camie suddenly appeared behind him and karate chop his head.

"Urgh!" He crouched down, holding his head in pain, "I think I'm going to be an idiot because of you all and not because of my Quirk."

Camie leaned down and whispered at him, "You better give up, Melissa's like, totes in love with Izuku."

"Eh?" Kaminari blinked, and stared at Melissa who was now chatting with Izuku with that 'look' in her eyes, "Damn, my love ended before it even began."

He stood up, shaking his head, 'According to the bro code; you shan't covet your bro's wife...or lover.'

"Alright fam," Camie clapped her hands, "Let's go to the gates and wait for our ride. I'm excited to eat in Izuku's restaurant again. Let me tell you this, everything there, are simply delish."

"I'll text my mom that all of you are going," said Izuku as he texted his mother before pocketing his phone and smiled at his friends.

"Alright guys, who's ready to go?"
