30. Living space.

It took an hour or two to build the entire castle and some surrounding buildings, I would still need to add things like furniture and other items. Also I need to run water lines and get electricity going.

"Thanks for the help, it turned out much nicer looking than I expected." I admit.

"Your quite welcome, it was fascinating seeing you work." The ancient one says with a smile. "However I do have some business to attend to today so I must be going."

She hold out her hand and we both arrive back in my room. Only for Wanda to be there looking for me apparently.

"Hello Wanda, are you liking your new home?" The ancient one asks kindly.

"Ah yes! It's much better than the asylum." Wanda replies quickly.

"That's good, do you have any more questions about your magical studies?" she asks.

Wanda shakes her head, "No everything was covered very well in your paper."

"Good, Anyway I must be going for the day. It was a pleasure seeing you again Wanda." The ancient one says before making a portal and stepping through.

Meanwhile I turn to Wanda. "You were looking for me?" I ask with a smile.

Her cheeks go red and she nods meekly.

"Sorry I was working on a place for us to live. I had a visitor this morning that is associated with an annoying group I'd rather keep a bit of distance from. They have a problem with letting people keep thier privacy." I explain. I had already picked up several listening devices that Natasha had left behind discretely. Man is she good at her job.

"Come here for a second." I wave her over to me.

She smiles and steps closer, I take her hand and press my thumb to her wrist and a small rune glows under my thumb.

"That is a key to enter my kingdom, it's called Ragnarok. You simply need to focus on the rune." as I explain she vanishes.

I follow behind and am standing next to her while she looks at the castle in awe.

"There uses to be loads of run down building but I spent the day clearing them and making this castle. I still need to get some items and such to fill it up, some I can make others its just easier to purchase." I take her hand and lead her around on a tour.

"Its really beautiful, is this where we will be staying?" She ask looking at all the ornate work on the walls and floors.

"Yep if you want to follow me that is." i ask and she hurriedly nods.

"Of course I'll follow you!" She says quickly before blushing and turning into a shy maiden again.

I just smile. "For now everyone gets thier own rooms, I also need to do a little maintenance as I wasnt able to solve everything in a couple hours. A little fine tuning so to speak. Also we can order some furniture catalogs, and I need to order things like stoves, fridges, appliances, that kind of stuff." I explain. "You can pick out the furniture and designs for your room and I'll make sure it happen."

"Mmm." She nods quietly playing with my hand and looking around the area.

After showing her around the area we left so that I could head out to buy some things. I had no idea how or if I could make items like grass seed, but I planned to buy some as the whole place just looked bleak.

"We can see what Laura is doing and then I'll order some food." I say looking at the clock. "Maybe Chinese food."

Figure I'll put in some orders online, I dont have any vehicle to move large furniture. of course I'll have to scan everything for bullshit like listening devices and cameras.

I pull put my food and order some delivery from the local Chinese food place making sure to get some for Logan, Ororo, and the professor too, well of course Laura, myself and Wanda.

I quickly find laura going over math problems with storm who both stop when we enter the classroom.

"Sorry for interrupting was just letting you guys know I ordered Chinese for lunch." I explain with a smile.

"Okay, thank you Ryan." Storm says politely. "We are almost done with some math revision."

"Alright. Are you behaving Laura?" I ask.

"Yes big brother!"

"She is most well behaved I havent had a problem out of her yet." Storm says with a smile.

"Great." I pat Laura on the head who smiles happily.

I figure I'll let them finish thier studies and start putting in orders for things online. Wanda follows me quietly outside so I can watch for the delivery guy and order stuff on my phone.

"If you want you can start looking for stuff online that you want, I'll pay for it." I tell the girl.

"Can you show me how?" She asks holding out her phone.

Forgot she lived mostly in an asylum.

"Sure!" I pull up an app and show her how to look for whatever she wanted.

"Just put it in the cart and I'll go through it later." I show her.

Surprisingly the next couple of days went by without any incident, no secret agents snooping around more than usual, no mutant catastrophes, my check book and new debit card made it in the mail.

Everything was good.

The ancient one even dropped by on occasion to have tea, and chat while checking on Wanda and answering her questions.

It was nice to finally have time to relax to myself. I even got to work on meditation which was relaxing.

However each time I would go too deep I would have to visit the pheonix.

Surprisingly she actually apologized for invading my privacy. It's good that she learned her lesson so I gave her an ice cream cone and let her leave the chair. After that she would occasionally ask me things she was curious about.
