Chapter 1

{Part 0: beginning}

June 6 2045, Thursday

buzz buzz..

Alex's Phone buzzed loudly as if to disturb him who supposedly sleeping soundly on his cramped room. Alex yawned and picked up his phone.

"h-hello?"

Alex spoke after answering the call while lying flat on his bed. he leaned his phone on his ear while half asleep.

A mysterious voice was heard from the phone. "We would like to congratulate Alex brahman"

Alex open his eyes and confused by the mysterious person on the phone, then he shouted angrily "You woke me up at the middle of the night for another of those scams?! are you for real?!"

...

a moment of silence before the mysterious voice was heard again "We would like to congratulate Alex brahman"

"ugh dammit! shut up!"

bleep..

Alex hang up angrily and went back to sleep. alex slept soundly with no idea of what was in-store for him. When morning arrived the sound of birds chirping and the loud stream of the nearby river can be heard even the cricketing of insects.

Alex woke up and found himself lying on the ground with tall grass under him. Confused by his situation Alex stood up hurriedly and in disbelief stared quietly as he witness a sea of trees stretching far more than the eyes can see. trees that easily reaching upto 50 feet tall and 8 feet wide.

{Part 1: System}

flop...

Alex helplessly laid down on the ground under the shade of the gigantic trees around him. "t-this must be a dream. y-yeah it must be---Right?" Alex slapped himself and tried all kinds of wierd things to wake up from the so called dream. In the end it was futile. Alex grit his teeth and punched a huge root. "gahhh dammit! wake up this have to be dream! "

"No a nightmare". Alex sweat anxiously as he observed his surroundings clueless of where he had to go but for now he decided to explore the forest surrounded by trees easily reaching over 50 feet tall. his been walking for an hour when suddenly he heard a familiar sound.

Ttiring..

"W-wait that sound-----It's my ringtone!!" Alex halted his walk in a hurry and started searching his pockets, left and right. Alex was glad and smiled happily when he found his phone on his right pocket.

"W-what is this?! "

but the little hope Alex found for himself was shattered. when he opened his phone the apps amount to no more than five. to make it worse, it was apps unknown to him. he didn't know what to do anymore. Alex trembled as he panicked. he searched his phone in panic swiping from left to right and right to left.

"Eeeek please something! anything!"

As Alex desperately searched for anything that could help him in his situation, he found a notification on the phone. "A n-notifications?" alex opened the notification and one of the apps opened, it was a mailing app called Zmail.

Alex found 1 new mail on the app and opened it due to curiousity. he began reading the contents in hopes to find clues of his current situation.

[Admin: Message]

[Congratulations Alex brahman on becoming a player. the administrators provided you with gifts and other necessities.]

[Mystery box: Provides a gift pack with all a player's necessary needs also gives a random player system and 2 random items ranking from Gold to Mythical. gift pack rank are base on colors.]

[Claim: Y/N]

"t-this is..? "Alex was intrigued and slowly adapted to his situation. when he finally calmed down he took a deep breathe and exhaled. then he tap the [Y] button on his screen.

Ttiring...

after the sound came, a projection of an image of a mysterious box came out from his phone, floating atop his screen.

"woah D-do I just grab it?"

Alex grab the hologram of the mystery box then his screen suddenly shine brightly after the blinding light disappeared a black gift pack with golden knot appeared on his hands.

"It w-work.. "

alex put his phone inside his pocket and crouched on the ground to open the black gift pack but suddenly a loud growl from afar shook the surrounding it was frightening. alex was greatly alarmed by it and he even felt threatened.

"w-what the hell was that?"

alex picked up his gift pack and looked around. after the loud noise the forest became quiet. the chirping of the birds, the foot step of beasts from afar and the cricketing of the insects all of it was gone only the loud stream of the river can be heard.

Wwoooshh..

a gust of wind passed by when a small noise was suddenly heard from afar little by little it became louder and clearer. as the sound became louder and louder the ground started shaking as well.

Rumble rumble...

"N-no way" Alex sweat anxiously as his instincts warned him that what has to come might kill him. he out of reflex hid behind the huge root of the trees and waited for what has to come.

as the rumbling became louder and nearer the loud growl was heard once again. alex's was stunned and he felt like his eardrums was about to explode. the pressure was intense. while he take cover behind the gigantic roots, a large beast he never saw before leap over him and as if time slowed down the beasts and alex made eye contact then the beast continued it's rush forward followed by other beasts of different sizes, all which are unfamiliar to him leaping over one after another.

"T-this is unreal.. "

alex was in awe. there was a black horned rabbit and a white one, a herd of deers as beautiful as the moonlight and even foxes that seemed to be nature itself with their leafy colored furs. there was also a troop of huge brown gorillas with hands made up of earth leap over him. there's even a large boar with a gigantic tusk.

Rumble rumble..

the rumbling just keeps getting louder mix with the different wailing of all kinds of unfamiliar beasts. then a group of blue wolf also appeared. one of the wolves injured its leg. the other members of the blue wolves was force to stopped and helped its injure kin.

Wwoooshh...

but when a gentle wind blew by. the entire blue wolf pack was overshadowed. the wolves started to "grrr" and some whimpered as they slowly step back while some ran away, then an enormous beast passed over alex who has no idea what was standing behind him.
