Summoning Altar

"M-methero..?"

"Yes, my dear god?"

"What am I looking at..?"

"A complete nothingness, my dear god."

"Ah, yes but... Why..?"

"Apparently, Vyyne took out half of the entire island to compensate for the amount of EP she lacked."

I know that, I know very well. Then why am I asking? Because I cannot accept it. Creation is hard... Creation is hard... And I'm not the superb kind of god who could do miracles. Miracles take up a lot of EP and skill. In front of me was once a large area of green grass, fertile soil. lush trees and shrubs and a small hill, some rocky areas and more. Simply put, it's the part where I placed most of my efforts. Aah.. the gems lost...

"My god..." Vyyne held on to my clothes like a child. "Did Vyyne do bad? Vyyne do bad thing to my god?"

It turned out Vyyne has the power to corrode the existence of EP to suit her own self. Since she was incompletely created, she devoured the EP of half the entire island. I would be happy since she didn't take that much EP from the entire dimension because of it but...

"My god..?" Vyyne looks so cute clinging on to me like this. I then caressed her head despite the thorns.

"Don't worry, you did what you had to do," I lost all feeling of loss and just decided to create more in the future. But as of now, I need to focus on the problem at hand. Those crimson beings...

"Methero," I called out to her.

"Yes, my dear god?" and I'm always amazed on how she responds with that graceful bow of hers.

"I'm going out for a while. Take care of my dimension for me," I gave her my trust amongst them all.

"Of course, I will make sure no flies will even be heard of upon your return," like always she's so reliable.

"Y-your leaving my god? Will you be back?" Vyyne suddenly hugged my arm. "Take me with you, I will ensure your safety."

"Aah..! Don't worry, I'm not going somewhere dangerous," I then patted her head. "Someday, I'll take you all out there, to Godland."

"Is there war out there? Then I'll be delighted to go," Arrhias proudly raised his head while folding his arms.

"No worries," I then looked at Methero and smiled. "Then, I'll be back as soon as I can."

Methero, Arrhias, and Vyyne, all three of them bowed down as Methero said, "Be safe, my dear god."

"Ah!" I then teleported towards Godland. Man, the feeling of having people bow to you is just magnificent. However, I should hurry back as soon as I get the item I need.

So far, Arrhias and Vyyne caused destruction upon their wake. Only Methero was created without breaking anything. No, the fact that she took a huge percent of the total EP count of my dimension proved that she required a lot of EP. I should really show my appreciation to Almerra's EP flowers too. They sure work like a charm. Now for the item that I need...

"Yo! Back here already? Perhaps you're finally interested in those-"

"NO!" here I am back at the Godprint shop.

"Your loss... Anyway, what can I get you today?" Dorus the shopkeeper just scratched his head.

"I would like to have your finest summoning altar," I looked around in case I might spot something interesting.

"Summoning altar? So finally into creating live beings, huh? Archangels right?! Man you sure are growing up!!" he then patted my back hard. "Here I thought you have a serious problem in creation."

"Well yeah I am," I took out one random godprint. "That's why I need a summoning altar."

"What? What are you a war god? Focusing on archangels first before your world? At least stabilize your world first," Dorus spoke like a bored person.

"I can't," I then decided to tell him the situation...

"I see, you're being targeted by some random world destroyer group or something, and you want to defend your dimension first before you proceed to creation," Dorus was rubbing his chin.

"Indeed, that is why I need a summoning altar," I hope he'll have something worth it though.

"Then why didn't you come buy one earlier? You could've done so before your third archangel destroyed half of your efforts," what he said got me.

"Well, I thought I could pull it off that easy," I looked away embarrassed as I scratched the back of my head. "Turns out creation really is just hard..."

Dorus then let out a sigh," Youth sure does have its pleasures." He then turned back, "Wait here.. I'll go see what I can find..."

As he went away, I was left alone in the shop, well, that's what I thought. There came in a woman inside the shop. She began looking around the godprints being sold. She had a silver white hair as well as eyebrows. Her eyes were closed, can she even see? That was when I saw on top of her head was a small bird with, woah... only one eye at the center. She wore what looked like a winter outfit with a white scarf, gloves, and boots. She just stood straight facing the godprints aligned and arranged while the one-eyed bird flew down her head and looked at the godprints. She then would pick up one and show it to the bird who would flutter around it.

All of a sudden, the bird looked at me. It felt so eerie as it stared at me. By then, the woman herself turned her closed-eyes face towards me and spoke...

"Do you need anything..?" she sounded like a cold-hearted woman with her voice. "You seem to be staring for quite a while..."

"A-ah.. Nothing..." I then picked up a random godprint and guhuaahhh!!! I immediately placed it back down while covering my blushing face. That was when I noticed a small soft breeze on my cheeks. I turned and saw the one-eyed bird stared at me so close. It then looked at the godprint I just placed back and looked at me again before it fluttered back on top of the woman's head. As it did, the woman blushed and looked away. "No! I didn't mean to pick this up, honest!!"

"Okay, so I have this one here which might pick your intere-huh?" Dorus suddenly came into the scene. "Oh, it's you..!"

"Eh? You know her, Dorus?" I asked him out of curiosity.

"Yes, she's came here twice already. An archangel," Dorus then came two godprints in hand.

"Archangel..?"

"Indeed, she came here looking for gardening godprints last time," Dorus then placed his arms over my shoulder. "A beauty isn't she..? Too bad we gods can't have her, nor any other created beings."

"A-ahh..." I then suddenly thought about Methero for some reason. I then swayed my head and took the thought away from my head.

Archangels are a rare sight here in Godland. Since their only purpose is to serve the god of each owned dimension, they stay there for that purpose. It was also said that archangels cannot survive the presence of many gods in one place at the same time but that's just a rumor. The real reason is discrimination. To gods who did not go to God University, only gods matter. They view anything created by a god as lower than gods, and therefore are inferior to them. They don't see the value placed by the creator to their creations. Well, this doesn't really go to all gods, but the fact is just heart-clenching. They exist for their god yet are looked down upon. Thankfully the gods that owned them will sure to love them, I hope.

"Anyway, I have these here which might interest you..." Dorus then showed me the godprints he had in hand. "These two are the highest quality summoning altars I had in store."

I then took the two and compared each other, "They're both of the same creator."

"Well yeah, but the quality is different," Dorus seemed distracted as he would take glances at the archangel.

"Hey, I'll look at these myself. You can always go and entertain your customers. I'll just approach you if I have chosen," I cannot be the reason he can't entertain customers.

"Okay, thanks man..." he then gave me a high five and went to the archangel.

I sat down on a seat which looked like an egg removed some portions to make it look like a chair. I then compared the two godprints I have in front of me, "Light Altar and Dark Altar, huh..." I then began reading the description. Light Altar is best for light elemental beings. Oh, when I say light elemental, it means fire, water, earth, wind, life, mind, and other elements which has a positive vibe. Dark elementals are those like void, gravity, pain, shadow, and other elements which has a negative vibe.

"I wonder which one..." I looked at Dorus as he waved goodbye to the weird woman just now who was on her way outside. "Okay, decided."

"So, have you chosen which one..?" he approached me while asking.

"Yes," I then extended in front of him the two godprints. "These two..."

"These two? Really?" he then took the two godprints. "It's pricey you know..."

"How come?"

"It's made by Fonso, the third in godprint making last GodChosen."

"I don't know who that is... Nor do I care," I then just pointed the two godprints in his hand. "I want them both."

"Okay, okay," he then went to the counter as I followed him. "Is the enemy side really that strong?"

As he looked at me, I clenched my fists as I remembered that guy, with his crimson blade and what he did to me. I just nodded to Dorus to show how serious I was. He just went silent as he calculated the price in the counter and wrapped them together. It's probably to save a slot in a customer's memory bag.

As I exited the shop, I saw someone coming towards me. It was the god selling unapproved godprints from before.

"Hey, you. I remember you..." he then opened his memory bag again. "I promise this time, these won't fail you. Guaranteed to msk- Hey!"

I just walked away disregarding him. However, he followed me.

"Wait!! I promise you, these won't fail you!!!" he shouted as he followed me. "Wait!!"

Out of irritation, I immediately teleported away towards my dimension. Truth is, teleporting away from someone in Godland is considered rude because it eaves a bad impression to the gods around the one left behind. They might think he is a bad companion or even dangerous. I'm very sorry for that god but I'm also in a hurry. Oh, teleportation within public buildings is also strictly prohibited because of lots of cases of theft happening at that time. And I mean lots, especially by teens. So that's why I didn't teleport from inside the shop, in case your wondering.

Ah, finally back inside my own dimension where all power, might, and glory belongs to me-

"THAT DOES IT!!!!" and a ground was broken to pieces as Methero slammed her claws. "YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY!!!"

"Vyyne is not running away..!" and Vyyne grew her vines all over forming a star which blocked Methero's claws.

"Gotcha!!!" from above them was Arrhias about the slam his massive sword downwards. "EAT THIS!!!"

And they clashed at each other, shaking the entire dimension on the force of impact. The three then leaped backwards and stared at each other with fierce murdering eyes. After about a five seconds, they launched at each other.

"Fourteenth Flight!!"

"Vyyne Plasma Thorn!!"

"GHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"Puppy Paws..."

And, instead of their attacks clashing at each other... Three cute puppy paws touched instead. They all looked shocked as they saw each other. By that, the entre broken area was filled with pups barking at each other. Yes, I turned them into puppies. Like I mentioned in the second chapter, (or was it third?) although creation is very hard, it is easy to change the components, structure, and properties of what I have created. And these three mighty beings are my creations.

The two pups then came barking at my feet as they wagged their puny tails at full speed, obviously they are Methero and Vyyne. The other one, who is obviously Arrhias just scratched his puppy ears with his puppy foot before yawning.

I then looked around my island. Well, they sure showed their strength all over the place. These pile of rubble from what once was a mountain, those ruined trees at a distance, and some pile of crumbled roofs and walls are enough proof that they are mighty warriors with full potential. The problem is that... I NEED NO SUCH PROOF!!!!

"Listen here, I assigned you three to take care if my dimension..." I then took a deep breath together with all the frustration that would have come out, and converted it all into one big sigh. "So, I guess you can't get along yet, huh..?"

The two then began barking so loudly while the one sleeping just rolled over and yawned. I guess I should punish them...

"So, for your punishment..." as I said that, one pup began wagging its tail like crazy, the other one whimpered, while the sleeping one didn't care. "You three are to stay like that until I created the summoning altar. Or in case those crimson goons attack again."

One pup barked happily, one pup cried and lowered it's head, and one pup... ehh...

With that, I then faced the ruined area. I guess building the altar here is fine to fix the area as well. Its like striking two god birds with one godstone. I then opened my memory bag, took out the godprints, and gripped my fists.

"Now, let's start creating!!!"
