52. The Silent Witch (5)
More than half a year had passed since Lex met with the Silent Witch he no longer asked her to become her Master each day, Lex able to learn Strengthening Magic
On the other hands the Scout Path reaching its end too, Lex can be called a Semi-professional Scout by now, there's nothing he can learn in this path anymore the rest can only be learnt slowly by experience at this time Lex started to face the new Path, the Ninth Path [Hidden Weapon] Path, with this Path which can also be called Assassin Path, he can further increase his capability as a Scout,
in a MMORPG game that have Levels and Jobs, Lex position can be called as [Thief] Job, usually in a Game like this, [Thief] is a basic Job which can be ranked up into advanced Jon like [Assassin] Job, [Path Finder] Job, [Ranger] Job. [Treasure Hunter] Job or many others. But in case of Lex now, he trying to become something when all of those Advanced Jobs combined into one, that's why after he had the capability of Semi-Professional Scout which increased his detection range, the next is to increase his damage output which is [Hidden Weapon] Path, his ideal battle situation is to find the enemy and killed it as fast as possible ambushes and assassination.
Next, Lex had ranked up to Tier E members now, he can start to take Mission for low-leveled Monster subjugation and He sometimes worked with Mio too he made a Team with Mio as promised, his income increased and he finally can sparingly enjoy his favorite cakes.
One day when Lex brought his dry cookies to the Tenth Area, he sometimes shared his cakes or cookies with her The Silent Witch when he had enough Merit to bought more than usual and today is the same.
But sadly Lex unintentionally spilled her tea when he tried to take another cookie she got splashed by the spilled tea, a bit of her shirt and skirt wet because of tea
"I'm sorry Master" Lex wrote that in the whiteboard and shown it to her
"it's ok" a greenish blue text appeared before Lex even after more than half a year, The Silent Witch rarely replied him like this, usually she only keeps her silence, that's why she suddenly responded like this it makes Lex bewildered, he thought that he made her angry yet…
"can you go to that room and bring a change of clothes" another greenish blue text and a small arrow appeared, the small arrow pointing to a door on the other side of the entrance
"huh?" Lex shocked by her text, Lex has been coming to this place more than half a year, of course he already learnt the structure inside as it is so simple, there's only two doors on the first floor, first is the entrance and the other is The Silent Witch private room, and the arrow pointed into that room
(did she just told me to get inside her room!?) there's no way Lex wouldn't get agitated when he was told like that
"can you?" another Text appeared
"are you serious?" Lex replied to her with another text in his personal white board
"??" greenish blue text appeared as she tilted her head and stared at Lex, her gesture was cute even with her emotionless face.
"ugghh I don't care anymore!" he said that but like usual in the Silent World, nothing can be heard, he made her way to her room
It was a very simple plain room a bed a small pair of table and chair, a wardrobe and another door leading to the toilet
(there isn't any of her personal belonging at all except…) Lex saw the Luxurious looking box beside the bed, he ignored it and went to open the wardrobe
(!!?) he got dumbfounded (all of her clothes is the same, white buttoned shirt and black skirt!)
(how is her life till now? it's like looking at a blank page, a very empty life…) after seeing something like this Lex can't see her in the same way anymore…, he kept his feeling deep inside he didn't have the right to say anything in this situation
Lex gave her a pair of her clothes to her when he came out Then the Silent Witch take a bit distance from Lex before she made a wall of Ice as a changing room, she came out with her dirtied clothes in her hand "wash it" a greenish blue text appeared before Lex again
As it was his fault, Lex accepted her request easily and that's action resulted in something very unexpected to Lex, he didn't know he bypassed another High Wall around her heart.
Sometimes he asked to make more tea
Sometimes he asked to put back the books on her table to its original place
Sometimes he asked to clean her room
Sometimes he asked to pick her clothes
Since that day Lex literally become her servant, her personal and exclusive butler she started to talk and use emoticon to him more and more each day, There's so many kind of request yet Lex never complained and did what he can do for her, it continues till now…

The Next day after Lex ranked up into D Tier. Which is the next day after he reunited with Aria and Arthur, after he took his usual class about [Hidden Weapon] in the Ninth Path. He made his way into the cafeteria for Lunch
"Lex! Over here!"
Lex went to the table where the voice coming from, there's a pair of boys, one muscled boy his muscle so big like a body builder athlete while the others is a delicate looking scholar like handsome blonde boy, Lex recognized both of them
"hello, Long time no see both of you"
(who can expect Max would team up with Cleos) Lex thought when he saw them, that's right the muscled boy is Max Azela/Quintonella while the delicate boy is Cleos Sariela.
(the looked so mismatched together…) Lex kept his thought deep inside him
"long time no see" Max replied then he offered Lex to sit with them, Lex accepted as there's no reason not to accept it.
"Cleos too, Long time no see" Lex said as he took his seat
"yea, how have you been?" Cleos replied
It was a month after Max separated with Lex. He teamed up with Cleos after meeting him a few times in the Main Hall, while Cleos knew it too, it was unreasonable for him to have a grudge with Lex when he lost the Mock Battle, he apologized and explained the reason he so infatuated with the number one in class.
Cleos Sariela had a twin sister which much more talented than him. Everything he did always compared with his sister which slowly developed the inferiority complex he had now, his sister who can be called as the most talented in his generation had been kept secret as the trump card of the Angel, that's why it was Cleos who had been sent here to Crimson Eagle as a guest while her sister had been taught personally by the most powerful among the Angels.
(from my point of view you were enough talented though…) Lex thought when he heard the story that time
Cleos didn't came here reluctantly too, he can distance himself from being compared with his sister while improve and prove himself at the same time too. That's the reason he so infatuated to be the best, to prove himself to get praise from his parent
(it was childish…, but I like it!) after that Lex reconciled with Cleos and their relationship become what we see now
"I'm fine, what about you two?" Lex replied
"we're fine too" Max replied "hey, did you still go to the Tenth Area these days?"
Lex nodded as he checked what to eat today
"whoa! It's been a year! I don't understand what are you thinking wasting your time like this!" Cleos added "we only have one more year before our time's up in Crimson Eagle"
"Lex…" Max called worriedly
Lex put down the Menu he opened both of his hand "haa~~" He sighed exasperatedly looking at Cleos and Max "that's why both of you are single and virgin"
(me too though…)
"wha-!" Cleos shocked by the sudden change of topic "what-"
"well, well, calm down, let me explain my plan to both of you as simple as I can so both of you can understand, maybe you can learn one or two from my plan"
"kugh!" Cleos accepted it reluctantly "fine, tell us…"
"haha, as you two know how I had been with here for the last one year" Lex explained "she started to get used to with me being beside her, here come a question"
"what happened if I were to disappear now?"
Both of them looks confused they didn't know the answer
"haaa~~" Lex sighed once again "this is why you two are single!"
"kuh!" Cleos can't refute being verbal abused by Lex while…
"I had Mashiro!" Max interrupted this time
"wha-!" Cleos looks at Max in disbelief
"oh right! You had Mashiro, I'm sorry then" Lex said "well then let me explain in simpler way"
"wait, wait, wait!!! I'd never heard about this!" Cleos glared at Max
"well…" Max scratched his cheek "you'd never asked me before…"
"t…"
""T?""
"TRAITORR!!!!" Cleos exclaimed

It takes a few minutes before Cleos can calmed down, he got a good looks but because of his inferiority complex he got nervous around girls, he can act his way for a while like in the Preparation Class, but he can't do that with a life time partner, that's why he become like this…
"our friendship ended here…. you're no longer my friend… our team disbanded…. I don't know you…" Cleos sulked gloomily on the table
Max didn't know what to do in this situation he looked at Lex to help him
"haa~" he sighed again "do you still want to hear about my plan? Maybe you can learn something?"
Cleos quickly jerked up he had seen Lex with Mio, Aria, Venti, and others before ('that's right! I saw Lex with many girls before!! Maybe I can learn something from him! Even the Executive can't escape from his claw!!') Cleos thought "quickly tell me! Please Master!"
"m-master!?" Lex shocked but when he saw Cleos eyes "you're that desperate huh?" he sympathized him "now then, because you don't understand what I meant before, let's take it this way"
"you two wore your clothes every day, what would happen if you suddenly went out naked?"
"Ridiculous!" Cleos replied
"that's right! It was because you already used to wear clothes, and you felt something off when you become naked" Lex said "it was the same in this situation, I'd stayed with her for one year which mean she already used to with me being by her side" Lex explained with a disgusting grin on his face he started to become excited as his plan reached its climax "If I left her now...."
{she will feel something off!} voice disappear from his last sentence.
The cafeteria become silent in an instant
The people inside started to get panic as voices disappear it was the same with Max and Cleos, all of them panicked except one person
(crap! DAMN IT!) there's no way Lex didn't know these phenomena as he been contacted to it for about one year and almost every day.
It's only a few second before the voice back into the cafeteria, the panicked people started to calm down and buzz around
"what happened!?" Max asked his reaction is the same with the others
"what did you say just now I can't hear it" while Cleos asked Lex about his plan to him it was more important but Lex no longer had leeway to deal with them
"sorry, I need to go now!" he stood up and ran toward that place
"Damn it!"
